METHOD FOR PROVIDING AN EARLY FEEDBACK ABOUT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICE CALL
A method for providing an early feedback about the establishment of a telecommunication service call between a caller and a callee, through a telecommunication network comprising receiving a telecommunication network information comprising at least one parameter associated to reachability of the callee; determining a probability of the callee to be reachable based on the at least one parameter and if the probability is higher than the threshold, providing the caller with a ringing notification.
Computer based method and system for logging in a user mobile device at a server computer system
The invention provides a computer-based method for logging a user mobile device onto a server computer system including registering a unique identifier of a user mobile device, receiving a first message from the user mobile device, detecting an Internet Protocol address associated with the user mobile device, receiving the unique identifier corresponding to the Internet Protocol address; and transmitting to the user mobile device a second message.
RING-BACK TONE SETTING METHOD, RING-BACK TONE SERVICE SYSTEM AND RING-BACK TONE PLAYING METHOD
Provided is a method for setting a ring-back tone played while a second wireless communication terminal attempts to make a call to a first wireless communication terminal. The first wireless communication terminal selects a sound source to be used as a ring-back tone, and selects the second wireless communication terminal in which the sound source is to be set. According to a request of the first wireless communication terminal, a message is transmitted to the second wireless communication terminal. The message is displayed on a screen of the second wireless communication terminal. The second wireless communication terminal downloads the sound source contained in the message or downloads the sound source from a pre-determined server connected to the second wireless communication terminal through a URL. The second wireless communication terminal sets the downloaded sound source to a ring-back tone played while the second wireless communication terminal attempts to make a call to the first wireless communication terminal.
Methods and apparatus for enhancing ringback tone quality during telephone communications
A system for enhancing tonal quality for ringback signals in a telecommunications network by adjusting audio processing during an alerting interval of a telecommunications session (e.g. during a telephone call). The system may be embodied in a telecommunications switching device and include a ringback manager process that provides the ability to adjust audio processing (e.g., by signaling to in-path equipment) which enhances the tonal quality of the ringback signal. As an example, a telephone system (e.g. equipment associated with establishment and operation of telephone communications sessions) can disable or attenuate operation of voice quality enhancement processing such as echo cancellation, noise reduction, adaptive level control, and the like, during the ringback or alerting interval or period of a telephone call so that the ringback tone provided to the calling party is not distorted by such processing.
Indicating the current demeanor of a called user to a calling user
At least one user expression of a first user of a first communication device, at least one text-based electronic communication sent or received by the first user, or at least one background sound detected in an environment where the first user is located can be monitored in real time. A current demeanor of the first user can be automatically determined by processing user expression, the text-based electronic communication, or the background sound. An incoming call from a second communication device to the first communication device can be detected. Responsive to detecting the incoming call, a ringback tone indicating the current demeanor of the first user can be automatically selected. The ringback tone can be communicated to the second communication device for presentation to a second user who is using the second communication device.
Method and apparatus for managing telephone calls
A system and method for managing telephone calls is disclosed. The system includes a central controller that receives and processes telephone calls. The identity of a caller is first determined. Based on predetermined settings designated by an end user, a call is directed to one or more telephones of the end user. Preferably, the end user's telephones ring simultaneously. The user may answer any of his/her telephones and choose from among several options of how to handle the call. If the user chooses to answer the call, the call may be transferred to that telephone and the conversation may commence.
COMMUNICATION TERMINAL APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Information that a called person desires to inform a calling person of is reported during a call made by the calling person, and it is notified that the calling person has acquired the information. A communication terminal apparatus that performs telephone communications via a communication network includes: a conversation unit 144 that inputs therein a sound via a transmitter and outputs a sound from a receiver; an input unit 110 that receives an operation of a user; a display unit 140 that displays an image; a communication unit 120 that establishes communications with a server 300, which is provided on the communication network, on a basis of a telephone number of a calling destination, which is input from the input unit 110; and a notification unit 130 that, in a case where the communication unit 120 acquires multimedia data corresponding to the telephone number of the calling destination from the server 300 after the communications are established with the server 300, notifies the user of acquisition of the multimedia data.
Cordless telephone device, cordless telephone system, and data transfer method
Slave device information transmitting unit of the present invention transmits slave device information to a mobile phone. Slave device transfer data receiving unit receives slave device transfer data from the mobile phone, and stores the slave device transfer data in storage unit. Destination slave device determining unit extracts destination slave device information from slave device transfer data stored in storage unit, and selects a cordless telephone slave device which is a destination of the slave device transfer data, based on destination slave device identification information which is set in the destination slave device information. Slave device transfer data transmitting unit transmits slave device transfer data to a cordless telephone slave device selected by destination slave device determining unit.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR SELECTING A RING BACK TONE TO BE PROVIDED TO A CALLER
The present subject matter relates to a method and a system for selecting a ring back tone to be provided to a caller. The method comprising selecting, by a subscriber, an editable audio file with a predetermined duration; encrypting the selected editable audio file on a storage device; communicating, by a communication interface, a start time of the selected editable audio file to the server, the server transcodes and smoothens the selected portion of the editable audio file; transferring, by the server, the transcoded audio file to the mobile operator network as a ring back tone.
METHOD OF PLAYING MUSIC PRIOR TO ESTABLISHING A PHONE CALL
This present invention disclosure relates to a method for playing music prior to establishing a phone call. It specifically relates to music discovery and playing the music for around 8 seconds, when a person makes a call from his mobile phone. Since music is played from the user's phone, there is no telecom network integration required. Additionally, the disclosure provides discovering songs based on user's context and collecting the songs thereof.
