INTELLIGENT CALL SCREENING
A computer receives an incoming call by a cognitive computing service. The computer determines, by the cognitive computing service (CCS), caller details that the incoming call is not within intended recipient preferences, based on comparing the caller details to call log information database and call information database, wherein the call log information database and call information database comprises previous caller details. The computer references, by the CCS, additional caller details from the call log information database and call information database relating to the caller details. The computer determines whether an intended recipient of the incoming call would reject the incoming call and based on the computer determination that the intended recipient of the incoming call would reject the incoming call the computer rejects the incoming call.
Multimode service communication configuration for performing transactions
Processing customer communications may include receiving a communication from a customer device via a first communication medium, retrieving a customer record associated with the customer device, determining the customer record has a pending status associated with a logged customer device action, transmitting an optional display link to the customer device via a second communication medium different from the first communication medium, receiving a selection from the customer device associated with the optional display link, identifying a third party candidate for processing the customer device action based on the at least one selection, transmitting a request to process the customer device action to the third party candidate, and transmitting a notification to the customer device responsive to receiving confirmation of the request from the third party candidate.
RING-BACK TONE SETTING METHOD, RING-BACK TONE SERVICE SYSTEM AND RING-BACK TONE PLAYING METHOD
Provided is a method for setting a ring-back tone played while a second wireless communication terminal attempts to make a call to a first wireless communication terminal. The first wireless communication terminal selects a sound source to be used as a ring-back tone, and selects the second wireless communication terminal in which the sound source is to be set. According to a request of the first wireless communication terminal, a message is transmitted to the second wireless communication terminal. The message is displayed on a screen of the second wireless communication terminal. The second wireless communication terminal downloads the sound source contained in the message or downloads the sound source from a pre-determined server connected to the second wireless communication terminal through a URL. The second wireless communication terminal sets the downloaded sound source to a ring-back tone played while the second wireless communication terminal attempts to make a call to the first wireless communication terminal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING NETWORK REGISTRATION THROUGH A SELECTED COMPONENT FOR DATA SERVICE
An electronic device is provided that includes a removable SIM to store a first profile including information related to a home network and information related to a roaming network. The portable electronic device also includes an eSIM, and communication circuitry. The portable electronic device further includes at least one processor adapted to determine that the portable electronic device is out of network service coverage corresponding to the home network based at least in part on the first profile, establish, using the communication circuitry, a specified communication connection with the roaming network using the first profile based at least in part on the determining, transmit a request for a second profile associated with data service via the specified communication connection, and receive, in response to the request, the second profile via the specified communication connection, the receiving including storing the second profile in the eSIM.
PERSONALIZING THE AUDIO VISUAL EXPERIENCE DURING TELECOMMUNICATIONS
A method and system are provided. The method includes identifying content in a telecommunication session between a caller and one or more other parties. The method further includes dynamically personalizing media provided to the caller on a telecommunication device during at least a portion of a subsequent telecommunication session between the caller and at least one of the one or more other parties based on the identified content in the telecommunication session. The telecommunication session occurs prior to the subsequent telecommunication session.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING ABNORMAL CONTACT INFORMATION AND SERVER
Aspects of the disclosure provide an apparatus that includes interface circuitry and processing circuit. The interface circuitry is configured to receive contact information provided by a terminal device for a contact entry in the terminal device. The contact information includes at least one communication attribute parameter for representing an attribute of the contact entry for communication, and the communication attribute parameter includes one or more parameter characteristics. The processing circuitry is configured to determine whether the contact information of the contact entry is abnormal with one or more abnormal parameter characteristics, generate, when the contact information of the contact entry is determined to be abnormal, a new filtering rule for filtering contact entries according to the one or more abnormal parameter characteristics, and add the filtering rule to a rule base to obtain an updated rule base.
Method and apparatus for performing network registration through a selected component for data service
An electronic device is provided, which includes a removable SIM, a secure memory configured to store at least one profile, a processor configured to select at least one of the removable SIM and the secure memory, to be used for packet data transmission and reception, in response to an occurrence of a data service change event, and a communication interface configured to perform network registration through the selected at least one of the removable SIM and the secure memory and to transmit and receive packet data through the registered network.
Attaching Multiple Phone Lines to a Single Mobile or Landline Phone
Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.
AUTOMATED BULK PROVISIONING OF PRIMARY RATE INTERFACE AND SIP TRUNK TELEPHONE NUMBERS
A broadband provisioning system configured for bulk provisioning of communications services is provided. The system includes an order manager that includes machine executable instructions stored on machine readable media, the instructions for: receiving a request to provision a plurality of telephone numbers with communications services; creating details for the request and setting an initial state for the request; and upon commencement of processing of the request, updating the state of the request to indicate ongoing processing, provisioning each telephone number in the request by associating resources therewith, and updating a status for each telephone number provisioned; and upon completion of processing, changing the state of the request to indicate completion.
System For Real Time, Remote Access To And Adjustment Of Patient Hearing Aid With Patient In Normal Life Environment
Real time, remote access to and adjustment of the hearing aid of a patient while the patient is located in a normal life environment that is remote from a hearing professional. A session request initiates a programming session. Adjustable settings from the patient's hearing aid are wirelessly streamed to the patient's mobile device and from the mobile device to a streaming cloud server. The settings are stored on the cloud, streamed from the cloud to a hearing professional's computer or mobile device and displayed. The hearing professional then changes at least one of the adjustable hearing aid settings and the changed settings are streamed to the cloud, stored on the cloud, streamed from the cloud to the patient's mobile device, wirelessly transmitted to the hearing aid and stored there. A telephonic voice connection between the hearing professional and the patient's mobile device is used to transmit the patient's evaluation of changed settings to the hearing professional.
