Methods and apparatuses to provide telephonic connections to members of a social network. One embodiment includes: identifying a first member connected to a second member in a social network; determining whether profile data of the first member of the social network includes a telephonic reference of the first member; presenting a user interface element to the second member over a data communication network in response to a determination that the profile data of the first member includes the telephonic reference of the first member; and responsive to a selection of the user interface element, initiating a first telephonic connection to the first member using the telephonic reference of the first member and a second telephonic connection to the second member to provide a telephonic connection between the first member and the second member.
Methods and systems for automated business dialing
Systems and methods consistent with the invention relate to automated business and service dialing. According to one exemplary embodiment, a business dialing system is disclosed. The system includes a memory configured to store a plurality of business objects containing phone numbers corresponding to a plurality of business entities. The system further includes a user input device configured to detect key presses. The system also includes a processor coupled to the user input device and the memory. The processor is configured to generate a key sequence and a number sequence based on the detected key presses. The processor is further configured to search the memory for business objects corresponding to the key sequence. The system further includes a display device configured to display the number sequence and the business objects. The user input interface is further configured to detect a selection of a business object, among the business objects, or a dial command. The processor is configured to perform an action associated with the selected business object if the selection of the business object is detected, and dial the number sequence as a phone number if the dial command is detected.

Systems and methods consistent with the invention relate to automated business and service dialing. According to one exemplary embodiment, a business dialing system is disclosed. The system includes a memory configured to store a plurality of business objects containing phone numbers corresponding to a plurality of business entities. Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a method and system of processing a short code voice call request is disclosed herein. A computing system receives a voice call request. The voice call request includes a short code associated with a target recipient. The computing system determines the target recipient based on the short code in the voice call request. The computing system determines preferences of the target recipient for processing the voice call request. The computing system processes the voice call request based on the determined preferences.

The method also includes establishing one or more silent call connections based on the determined one or more call recipients, wherein each of the one or more silent call connections comprises a call connection with a predetermined parameter so that there are no incoming call indicators on one or more devices associated with the one or more call recipients.

The method further comprises monitoring at least one of location information, presence information and behavior information associated to the party and processing the communication routing information and the at least one of the location information, presence information and behavior information at least in part on the basis of modification information in an attempt to determine the suitability of modifying the communication routing information. When it is determined that the communication routing information is suitable for modification, causing the party to be advised.

The computing system determines preferences of the target recipient for processing the voice call request. The computing system processes the voice call request based on the determined preferences.
HANDS-FREE DEVICE
An in-vehicle hands-free device includes a memory, and a hardware processor coupled to the memory. The hardware processor is configured to: connect to a mobile phone; acquire incoming call history data of the mobile phone connected by the hardware processor; detect a traveling state of a vehicle on which the in-vehicle hands-free device is mounted; and when accepting a request to output the incoming call history data, output the incoming call history data by voice when detecting that the vehicle is traveling, and output the incoming call history data by display when detecting that the vehicle is not traveling.
