Managing, monitoring and transcribing concurrent meetings and/or conference calls
A system, a method and a computer program product for managing multiple meetings and/or conference calls by performing the steps of receiving, by a computer, invitations to attend, by at least one attendee, two or more meetings, and detecting, by the computer, a one or more conflicts between the two meetings. The computer communicates, to the attendee, at least one detected conflict of the one or more detected conflicts. The computer receives an identification of a single meeting of the two or more meetings the at least one attendee will attend and at least one meeting to be transcribed. At least one meeting to be transcribed includes all meetings of the two or more meetings exclusive of the single meeting the attendee will attend. At least a portion of the at least one meeting is transcribed into a first textual transcript and selectively delivered to the attendee in real time.
Providing audio announcement to called parties
The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer-readable medium for providing audio announcement of communications to a called party in a communication network. The method includes receiving communication from a calling party and performing a lookup of information relating to the calling party in a database via an Internet Protocol connection based on an identifier of at least one of the calling party and the called party. The information comprises one or more audio files. The method then provides the audio announcement to a called party based on the audio files.

Disclosed herein is a method of generating a record of a call, the method, performed by a first device, comprising: performing a voice communications call with a second electronic device over a first communications channel; receiving and/or transmitting, during the voice communications call, call content data over a second communications channel; generating call details in dependence on the voice communications call; and generating a record of the call, wherein the record comprises the call details stored in association with the call content data. Advantageously, each generated call record provides an entry point to access data or to search information related to each call.
Terminal device and method for performing call function
Provided are a terminal device and method of performing a call function transmitting ambient audio with high sensitivity. A terminal device performing a call function with at least one external device via a network may include a receiver configured to receive at least one of an audio transmission signal and a video transmission signal to be transmitted to the external device; a processor configured to analyze at least one of the audio transmission signal and the video transmission signal, select one of a speech mode and an audio mode, based on a result of the analysis, and compress the audio transmission signal, based on the selected mode; a communicator configured to transmit the compressed audio transmission signal to the external device, and receive an audio reception signal from the external device; and an output unit configured to output the audio reception signal.
SYSTEMS & METHODS FOR INTELLIGENTLY MANAGING MULTIMEDIA FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE
Described herein are systems, devices, methods, and media for connecting a user for transmitting multimedia from electronic devices to emergency service providers. In some embodiments, a method for transmitting multimedia from an electronic device to an emergency service provider by an emergency management system includes the steps of: detecting an emergency alert indicative of an emergency; wherein each sensor within the set of pertinent sensors is determined to be associated with the emergency; obtaining a first set of multimedia contents from the set of pertinent sensors; determining, based on at least one of the set of pertinent sensors and the first set of multimedia contents, a set of relevant sensors from the set of pertinent sensors; and transmitting a second set of multimedia contents from the set of relevant sensors to an emergency service provider.
MANAGEMENT OF MEDIA CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH A USER OF A MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE
A sender-controlled media (SCM) platform may capture live content by a call-originating device (such as audio, video, and text input by a caller), process the live content to determine an intent, select a visual element based on the intent, and present the visual element on the call-originating device to produce a caller story that can be forwarded to a recipient. In another aspect, when a sender is not a participant of a SCM platform but a recipient is, content pertaining to the sender may be gathered for generating and delivering a SCM data structure. In yet another aspect, an SCM application may interface with phone screen controls so that content in a received SCM data structure can be presented on an electronic display of a phone while a phone call is in progress. Further, the SCM application may monitor user actions for updating the SCM data structure.
Sharing a streaming video
A video segment can be shared over a computer network by first receiving the video segment at a receiving computer on the network. The receiving computer assures that the video segment is in a streaming video format, and creates at least one identification tag for the video segment. The receiving computer also stores the video segment, and communicates the identification tag to another computer on the network. Upon subsequent receipt of that identification tag, the receiving computer streams the video segment to a destination computer on the network.

The system includes: a communication module and a data processor, the data processor including a storage module, the storage module storing an identification code; and the communication module is configured to receive a communication request from a user terminal, the communication request including the identification code; and the communication module is further configured to establish a communication connection to a target terminal according to the identification code set by the network service system and a target code, the target code enabling the target terminal to communicate with the user terminal in real time by using an Internet Protocol (IP) network.
