Method and apparatus of providing messaging service and callback feature to mobile stations
Disclosed are an apparatus and method of performing automated administrative operations on a mobile device. One example method may include determining via a hosted server that an action needs to be performed by a mobile device under management. The method may further include generating a message via the hosted server, the message includes the action, and transmitting the message to the mobile device under management, and receiving a result message from the mobile device under management responsive to the transmitted message, the result message indicating that the action has been satisfied.
Extension mobility for analog telephones
According to some embodiments, a method performed by a software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) controller communicably coupled to a voice gateway comprises determining a user profile from one or more stored user profiles is to be associated with an analog telephone and transmitting the user profile to the voice gateway. In particular embodiments, the SD-WAN controller may receive a request to associate the analog telephone with a user from the voice gateway.
Method, apparatus, and system for handover to circuit switched domain
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus, and system for a handover to a circuit switched domain. The method includes: selecting an MSC capable of both CSFB and SRVCC for a UE; and selecting, if a location service of a CS domain triggers an SRVCC procedure for the UE when the UE has a VOIP service in progress, the MSC capable of both CSFB and SRVCC in the SRVCC procedure, so that the UE, after being handed over to the CS domain, accesses the MSC and implements the location service of the CS domain. The apparatus includes: a first selecting module and a second selecting module. The system includes a UE and the apparatus. The embodiments of the present invention enable the UE with the VOIP service in progress to be correctly handed over to the CS domain and implement the location service.
ENHANCED CALL DOWNGRADE REASON INDICATOR
A method of signaling a reason for a downgrade of an enhanced call to an audio-only call. User equipment (UE) can engage, via a telecommunication network, in an enhanced call including audio content and additional content. The UE can generate a downgrade message that requests a downgrade of the enhanced call to an audio-only call that includes the audio content without the additional content. The downgrade message can include a downgrade reason indicator identifying whether the UE is automatically downgrading the enhanced call or whether the UE is instead downgrading the enhanced call due to user instructions. The UE can send the downgrade message to the telecommunication network.
SET BUFFER STATE INSTRUCTION
Input/output (I/O) operation requests from pageable storage mode guests are interpreted without host intervention. In a pageable mode virtual environment, requests issued by pageable storage mode guests are processed by one or more processors of the environment absent intervention from one or more hosts of the environment. Processing of the requests includes manipulating, by at least one processor on behalf of the guests, buffer state information stored in host storage. The manipulating is performed via instructions initiated by the guests and processed by one or more of the processors.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for providing regional survivable calling over a packet network
A method is disclosed of providing survivable communications in a communications network, the method comprising: determining a loss of communications with a communications server, wherein the communications server provides calling features to an endpoint connected to the access node; and after determining a loss of communications with the communications server, forming a cluster of a plurality of access nodes to provide communication service to endpoints served by the plurality of access nodes, wherein the plurality of access nodes comprises the access node, and wherein the access node and a second access node in the plurality of access nodes use different access technology.
