PROCESSING SENSITIVE INFORMATION OVER VOIP
20210194939 · 2021-06-24 ·

A method of processing sensitive information over VoIP provides a method of processing, by a call processor, a media call comprising the steps of: receiving a first signalling stream from a first entity; creating a second signalling stream to a second entity; forwarding signals received from the first signalling stream to the second signalling stream; receiving a third signalling stream from the second entity; creating a fourth signalling stream to the first entity; and forwarding signals received on the third signalling stream to the fourth signalling stream; the first signalling stream containing instructions to set up a media call between the first entity and the second entity such that media is transmitted over a first media stream from the first entity to the second entity and a media is transmitted over a second media stream from the second entity to the first entity without intervention by said call processor.

A method, an apparatus and a system for a handover to a circuit switched domain are disclosed. In an embodiment, a system includes a mobility management entity (MME) and at least two a mobile switching center (MSCs), wherein the at least two MSCs comprise a first MSC capable of supporting a circuit switched fallback (CSFB) and a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) and a second MSC not capable of supporting the SRVCC, and wherein the MME is configured to select the first MSC for a user equipment (UE) from the at least two MSCs in a combined tracking area update procedure of the UE when a location service of a circuit switched (CS) domain triggers an SRVCC procedure for the UE and when the UE has a Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) service in progress.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR USING A UNIFORM APPLICATION PROGRAM INTERFACE FOR VALIDATION AND RECOVERY

A device may receive, from a source device, a request for a target device to perform an operation. The request includes parameters, source information that identifies the source device, and operation information that identifies an operation. The request invokes an API that selects, based on the source information and the operation information, validation rules. The API executes the validation rules to determine whether the parameters are valid for the operation. The API may determine, from executing the validation rules, that an issue is preventing the parameters from being valid for the operation. The API may select, based on the source information and the operation information, a recovery rule from among a plurality of recovery rules. The API may execute the recovery rule to remedy the issue and provide a response message indicating a result of executing the recovery rule.

According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone via Bluetooth; and a second communication port configured to create a voice over internet protocol (VOIP) connection to a first telephone network; wherein the base station is configured to retrieve a first contact list from the first mobile telephone, and is configured to send information from the first contact list to a memory.

Dynamic voice over internet protocol proxy for network bandwidth optimization

Examples include receiving, from a VoIP server, identification information of the virtual meeting and information of a plurality of client devices participating in the virtual meeting, associating each client device of the plurality of client devices to a network device in a set of network devices based on the identification information of the virtual meeting and capabilities of the set of network devices, and creating a proxy agent in each network device in the set. The proxy agent is configured to receive, from the VoIP server, VoIP streaming data of the virtual meeting. Additionally, examples include, configuring the proxy agent to replicate and transmit the VoIP streaming data to the plurality of client devices.
