TELEPHONE BASE STATION FOR COMBINING MOBILE AND VOIP TELEPHONE SERVICE
According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station capable of being connected to at least one handset, the base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone and a second mobile telephone via Bluetooth, where the first mobile telephone uses a first mobile telephone network and the second mobile telephone uses a second mobile telephone network.
Processing sensitive information over VoIP
This invention relates to a method of processing sensitive information over VoIP. The method provides a method of processing, by a call processor, a media call comprising the steps of: receiving a first signalling stream from a first entity; creating a second signalling stream to a second entity; forwarding signals received from the first signalling stream to the second signalling stream; receiving a third signalling stream from the second entity; creating a fourth signalling stream to the first entity; and forwarding signals received on the third signalling stream to the fourth signalling stream; the first signalling stream containing instructions to set up a media call between the first entity and the second entity such that media is transmitted over a first media stream from the first entity to the second entity and a media is transmitted over a second media stream from the second entity to the first entity without intervention by said call processor.
Identifying and processing of unreturned calls in IPBX
Apparatuses and methods concerning routing of calls in an IPBX server are disclosed. A first processing circuit is communicatively coupled to an IPBX server that routes VoIP calls for a plurality of end-users having respective VoIP-enabled devices and generates call event messages for the routed calls. The first processing circuit generates call summary metrics from the call event messages. A second processing circuit evaluates the call summary metrics to identify a set of incoming calls to the IPBX that were missed and have not been returned by the end-users. The second processing circuit cross-correlates the identified set of incoming calls with a secondary data source to determine a respective priorities for the set of incoming calls. The second processing circuit stores data indicating calls of the identified set have a higher priority.
Telephone base station for combining mobile and terrestrial telephone service
According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station wirelessly connected to a first handset and a second handset, the base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone and a second mobile telephone via Bluetooth, where the first mobile telephone uses a first mobile telephone network and the second mobile telephone uses a second mobile telephone network.
Modular access connection system
An interface panel comprising a respective socket for each local loop connection between a main distribution frame and a demarcation point, the socket comprising: a pair of first ports configured for connection to a respective wire pair extending from the interface panel to the main distribution frame; a pair of second ports configured for connection to a respective wire pair extending from the interface panel to the demarcation point; and a pair of third ports configured for connection to a respective wire pair extending from the interface panel to a Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM).
System and method for providing voice communication between sender users, recipient users and external network entities
A system and method for voice communication between sender users and recipient users, and the sender users and external network entities is provided. The system includes a plurality of voice communication domains interacting with each other and with network entities, and a cross-domain coordinator configured to coordinate interaction between the voice communication domains over Internet. Each voice communication domain includes a plurality of personal communication devices (PCDs) associated with the corresponding users, and a voice communication server deployed within the voice communication domain to control operation of the PCDs. Each PCD is controlled and operated by voice user commands provided verbally, and is configured to provide voice communication between a sender user and a recipient user within the same voice communication domain, between the users of different voice communication domains, and between the sender user and the external network entities.
Method and device for reducing telephone call costs
There is described a gateway system comprising: a local-call device for receiving and sending phone call signals from and to a telephone device located in a same telecommunication zone; a VoIP device, distinct from the local-call device, for receiving and sending VoIP call signals from and to a remote and distinct VoIP device located in another distinct telecommunication zone; and a voice transmission apparatus comprises a set of two acoustically distinct chambers. Those comprise a first chamber comprising a first microphone and a second speaker; and a second chamber comprising a second microphone and a first speaker. The first microphone and the first speaker are in communication with the local-call device only and the second microphone and the second speaker are in communication with the VoIP device of the gateway system only.
