Methods and systems for implementing differential pricing configurations
10511454 · 2019-12-17 · ·

Methods for implementing different pricing configurations by a server system are disclosed. The server system provides an application programming interface (API) for one or more network operators and receives, from a network operator via the API, a first request for a pricing configuration for network access for one or more internet protocol (IP) addresses hosted by the network operator. The server system retrieves the pricing configuration and provides a response to the first request to the network operator via the API that includes the pricing configuration.

System and method for maintaining sharing groups in a service delivery system

In a service delivery system, a computing system is provided for maintaining membership in a sharing group associated with a sharable service. The system includes a CRM module generating a user interface for displaying current membership in the sharing group and receiving, via the user interface, instructions to modify the current membership. The CRM module automatically generates and inserts into a transaction table at least one pending modification transaction for the sharing group in accordance with the instructions, and a billing module comprising a billing database storing associations between one or more member services and the sharing group modifies the associations in the billing database in accordance with the at least one pending transaction. A computer-implemented method and computer-readable medium are also provided.

TOLL-TREE NUMBERS METADATA TAGGING, ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
20190312979 · 2019-10-10 ·

A toll-free tagging service is provided that includes a subscription-based service that is made available to responsible organizations, consumers and businesses. The toll-free tagging service may provide the ability to tag a toll-free number (or group of numbers), and once a number is tagged, to track updates to that number that may then be distributed to customers through emails/text messages or other means. Subscribers of the toll-free tagging service may also have the ability to create, view, update and delete tags through a web application, mobile application, or some other user interface.

Method and system for implementing application programming interface (API) to provide network metrics and network resource control to users

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network application programming interface (API), and, more particularly, API to provide network metrics and network resource control to users. In some embodiments, a computing system might receive customer network telemetry data from a first network via a gateway API, might receive service provider network telemetry data from a second network(s) via a network API, might compile the customer network telemetry data and the service provider network telemetry data, might receive a request from a user to access information regarding network services associated with the user, might filter the compiled customer network telemetry data and the compiled service provider network telemetry data to isolate first telemetry data and second telemetry data, respectively, might provide the user with access to at least one of the first telemetry data or the second telemetry data, and might provide the user with options to control network resources.

Converged family network usage insights and actions

A system receives, from an account holder, a customized selection of notification methods and notification conditions associated with notifying an account holder about a first family member's network activity, wherein the first family member's network activity includes a first device's activity in a first network and a second device's activity in a second network, and wherein the second network is a different network than the first network. The system monitors multiple first types of network activity of the first device in the first network, and monitors multiple second types of network activity of the second device in the second network. The system provides notifications to the account holder based on the customized selection of notification methods and notification conditions and based on the monitored first types of the network activity of the first device and the monitored second types of the network activity of the second device.

Method To Reduce Mobile Telephone Charges By Immediate Disconnect And Redial

Various embodiments include methods that may be implemented on a mobile device to enable responding to an incoming mobile terminated (MT) call by promptly initiating a mobile originated (MO) call back to the calling mobile device with minimal delay. Various embodiments may include a mobile device receiving from a network a first paging request associated with a first service request for establishing a first MT call from another mobile device, activating a user interface feature for converting the first MT call to a first MO call from the mobile device to the other mobile device, sending to the network, a disconnect message with normal a clearing cause code such that the first MT call is promptly terminated, sending to the network a second service request for a second MO call to the other mobile device; and establishing the second MO call at the mobile device.

Telecommunication service subscription integration system

This disclosure describes a Telecommunications Service Subscription Integration (TSSI) system that generates an integrated service subscription for a client device operating on a telecommunications network. The integrated service subscription may aggregate service features from multiple service subscriptions, and prioritize application of one service subscription within the integrated service subscription over another, or one service feature within the integrated service subscription over another. The TSSI system may also determine whether client eligibility for a service subscription is current or has lapsed. In doing so, the integrated service subscription may be adjusted to remove ineligible service subscriptions and re-prioritize remaining service features. The TSSI system may monitor usage of an integrated service subscription and recommend additional, or alternative, service subscriptions. The TSSI system may parse through client usage data to determine a suitability score for individual service features, and in doing so, recommend an additional, or alternative, service subscription based on suitability scores.

CUSTOMIZED SERVICE PLAN GENERATION

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for generating customized service plans for a wireless telecommunications network. An operator of a wireless telecommunications network may allow users to access the network in accordance with a service plan, which may specify terms and conditions associated with usage of the network (e.g., types of usage, amounts of usage, geographic areas, associated mobile devices and users, subscription fees, etc.). Customized, user-specific service plans for the wireless network may be generated and implemented by determining that a user satisfies one or more criteria for applying service plan modifications. A user may be required to agree to specified conditions, such as upgrading a mobile device or subscribing for a specified time period, in order to accept a customized service plan. Multiple modifications may be applied to a base service plan, and plans and/or modifications for which the user is eligible may be identified.

System and method for network provisioning

An electronic tool is arranged to configure elements in an electronic communication network and the electronic tool is deployed at a central location. A control circuit is configured to execute decision logic and execution of the decision logic is effective to construct an appropriate product or service offer for the customer based upon parameters entered by the customer. A transceiver circuit receives acceptance of the offer and the control circuit responsively creates electronic signals that provision electronic elements in an electronic communication network to implement the product or service offer.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CHARGING IN A TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK
20190141493 · 2019-05-09 ·

According to one aspect of this disclosure, a charging client in a telecommunication network controls, or at least influences, the time over which a granted resource quota is considered valid for use in initiating or continuing a communication session that is subject to online charging control. When sending a given reservation request to a controlling charging server, the charging client indicates the requested timer value. Provided the requested timer value is acceptable to the charging server, the server sends a reservation response that includes a conforming granted timer value, and the charging client times expiration of the granted resource quota according to the granted timer value. In case the reservation response is non-conforming, the charging client decides whether or not to use the granted resource quota. Such operations allow the charging client to tune quota timer values, for example, in dependence on loading at the charging client.
