INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processor comprises a terminal-side controller programmed to execute: (A1) a process of allowing a creation of a message to the information processor of a transmission destination; and (A2) a process of expanding a representable range of the message on condition of charging when the message is created, and a server comprises a server-side controller that calculates a charge amount charged for the message in the information processor by referring to a charge amount determination data, and a server-side memory that stores the charge amount correspondingly to each of the information processors.
Systems and methods for controlling secure persistent electronic communication account servicing with an intelligent assistant
The disclosed technology includes systems and methods for controlling enrollment and secure persistent SMS texting account servicing communications. A method is provided that includes receiving, at an enrollment web portal, enrollment data including: enrollment credentials identifying a user for authentication, a phone number of a mobile device associated with the user, and consent by the user to persistently interact with an account servicing system via SMS texting. The method includes: processing the received enrollment data, authenticating the user responsive to processing the received enrollment data, storing the phone number of the mobile device associated with the user in a phone number data storage, and generating, responsive to the authenticating, a revocable token for persistent access to a natural dialog module via a SMS texting gateway for the mobile device identified by the phone number.
INMATE TEXT COMMUNICATION VIA WI-FI RADIO
Inmate text communication can include communicating a text message through a server via a Wi-Fi radio, where the Wi-Fi radio is associated with an active predetermined and unique telephone number selected from a group of reserved predetermined and unique telephone numbers.
Differential online charging for text messages based on network type
Systems and methods are disclosed for performing online charging for text messages. One embodiment comprises a system that handles a Mobile Originated (MO) text message. The system receives a send request for the MO text message, and generates an online credit request for the MO text message. The system determines a type of originating network for the MO text message, and inserts an indicator of the originating network type in the online credit request. The system may also determine a type of terminating network for the MO text message, and insert an indicator of the terminating network type in the online credit request. The system then transmits the online credit request to an online charging system to charge for the MO text message.
SYNCHRONOUS INTERFACING WITH UNAFFILIATED NETWORKED SYSTEMS TO ALTER FUNCTIONALITY OF SETS OF ELECTRONIC ASSETS
Systems and methods for managing a set of electronic assets from a single location are disclosed. The method includes providing a portal with a network security access control. The method includes determining that login credentials input to the access control are associated with a set of electronic assets corresponding to a plurality of third-party computing systems with application programming interface (API) gateways configured to accept API calls directed to changes in functionality of the electronic assets. The method includes presenting, via the portal, a virtual icon to identify a coordinated action with respect to the set of electronic assets and, in response to a selection of the virtual icon, executing a set of API calls that include an asset-specific API call to each third-party computing system in the plurality of third-party computing systems to implement the coordinated action on all electronic assets in the set of electronic assets.
CONTENT-BASED ROUTING AND RATING OF MESSAGES IN A TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
Systems and methods for automated routing and rating of communication data.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A NETWORK SERVICE IN A DISTRIBUTED FASHION TO A MOBILE DEVICE
A mobile virtual network operator is provided. The operator includes a server that is communicatively coupled to a mobile device. The mobile device includes application software provided by the virtual network operator for allowing phone call and data connectivity.
Dynamic distribution in an offline charging system
Systems and methods are provided for processing messages in an Offline Charging System (OFCS) of a communications services provider. A front-end distributor unit receives Diameter messages from a Charging Trigger Function (CTF) and distributes the Diameter messages to Charging Data Function (CDF) units of the OFCS. The distributor unit receives Diameter response messages from CDFs and calculates performance metrics based on the distributed messages and their responses. The distributor unit computes revised distribution weights used for distributing new Diameter messages for new Diameter sessions to the CDF units based on the measured metrics, thus adjusting the distribution pattern of the Diameter messages based on estimated workload conditions at the CDFs.
Method and apparatus for detecting SMS parameter manipulation
System and method for detecting SMS parameters manipulation. A first SMS registry is coupled to a first Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and optionally to other SMS registries. The first SMSC is within a terminating telephone network. The first SMS registry receives first and second information about an SMS message that was sent from another telephone network or from an External Short Messaging Entity (ESME) and is destined to the first SMSC. The first and second information represent status of the SMS message respectively before and after the SMS message enters the terminating telephone network. The first SMS registry or a firewall automatically compares at least corresponding portions of the first and second information. As a result of the comparison, in response to detecting a difference between the at least portions of the first and second information, the first SMS registry automatically sends a signal indicating SMS parameter manipulation.
Inmate text communication via Wi-Fi radio
Inmate text communication can include communicating a text message through a server via a Wi-Fi radio, where the Wi-Fi radio is associated with an active predetermined and unique telephone number selected from a group of reserved predetermined and unique telephone numbers.
