APPAREL ITEM WITH INTEGRATED PARACHUTE STRUCTURE
Aspects herein provide for an apparel item having an integrated parachute structure and a set of intake ducts. The parachute structure is configured to transition from a first slack state to a second inflated state subsequent to air entering the set of intake ducts incident to ground locomotion of the wearer thereby increasing air resistance to wearer movement.
NON-MOTORIZED TREADMILL HAVING COMPOSITE RESISTANCE MODULE
A non-motorized treadmill includes a non-motorized treadmill body and a composite resistance module. The non-motorized treadmill body includes two rollers and a treadmill belt. The treadmill belt is wound around the two rollers. The composite resistance module includes a reluctance module and a fan wheel. The reluctance module includes a wheel body and a resistance member. The wheel body is mounted to one of the rollers. The resistance member is located close to the wheel body. One of the wheel body and the resistance member includes a metal member. The other of the wheel body and the resistance member includes a magnetic member. The fan wheel is connected to one side of the wheel body so that one of the rollers is subjected to magnetic resistance and wind resistance when rotated.
Elliptical trainer
The invention relates to an elliptical trainer including: a frame having a first end and a second end; a rocker-rod mechanism hingedly connected to the first end of the frame; a pedal mechanism connected to the frame and the rocker-rod mechanism, the pedal mechanism being linked with the rocker-rod mechanism on the frame; a resistance adjustment mechanism provided at the first end of the frame, the resistance adjustment mechanism being connected to the pedal mechanism through a transmission mechanism for adjusting the movement resistance of the pedal mechanism. In the apparatus of the invention, there are two resistance adjustment ways i.e. manual resistance adjustment and electronic-controlled resistance adjustment, the user can select any one or both according to requirements. By combining the manual adjustment and the electronic controlled adjustment, the adjustable range of movement resistance is increased, and not only a wide range resistance control is achieved, but also fine-tuning of the movement resistance can be achieved manually.
STATIONARY EXERCISE MACHINE WITH A POWER MEASUREMENT APPARATUS
A power measurement apparatus for an exercise machine may include an optical sensing component and a pair of code wheels supported by the frame of the exercise machine. The pair of code wheels may include a first code wheel having a plurality of first windows and a second code wheel having a plurality of second windows that individually at least partially overlap respective ones of the first windows to define respective effective window, the width of which may vary responsive to the application of power via at least one moment-producing assembly. The optical sensing component is operatively associated with the pair of code wheels to detect variations in the width of the effective window and thus measure the power applied via the moment-producing assembly.
Throwing Training Assembly
A throwing training assembly for enhancing throwing training includes a towel that is positioned on a hand during throwing training. The towel is comprised of a deformable material to capture air during throwing training thereby facilitating resistance to be imparted to the hand during throwing training. The towel has a plurality of apertures extending therethrough. Each of the apertures receives fingers on the hand thereby facilitating the towel to be retained on the hand.
Exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus comprising a foot support movable by the user on the frame back and forth through any one of a plurality of complete, reproducible and different arc segments of a master arcuate path, the foot support being interconnected to an arc segment selection device that is manually actuatable to enable the user to manually select any one of the plurality of different arc segments, the foot support being interconnected to an arm having a handle manually graspable by the user to reduce or increase power or energy required by the user to move the foot support.
Inclinable Exercise Machine
An exercise machine may include a stationary frame, an inclinable portion movably connected to the stationary frame, and an incline mechanism connected to the stationary frame. The incline mechanism may include a coiling mechanism, a coiling rod of the coiling mechanism, a flexible coiling link movable with a rotation of the coiling rod, and where the flexible coiling link is connected to the inclinable portion.
Exercise machine with adjustable stride
A stationary exercise machine according to the present disclosure may include a frame, a crankshaft rotatable supported by the frame, first and second lower linkages, and first and second crank arms connected to opposite sides of the crankshaft such that rotation of either of the first or second crank arm causes rotation of the crankshaft. Each of the first and second lower linkages may be operatively connected to the crankshaft and to a respective one of first and second pedals. Each of the first and second lower linkages may include a reciprocating member operatively connecting the respective one of the pedals with respective one of the crank arms. In some examples, each of the first and second lower linkages may include an adjustable linkage connected between the reciprocating member and the respective crank arm, the adjustable linkage operable to vary a distance between an output end of the reciprocating member and an input end of the crank arm. In some examples, each of the pedals may be pivotally connected to the respective reciprocating members.
Abdominal exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus for performing an abdominal exercise comprising: a frame, a seat having a seating surface (PS) and a pelvic stabilization pad having a lower back engagement surface (ES), an input arm assembly interconnected by a first interconnection to a first resistance mechanism, the input arm assembly including a manually graspable mechanism for manual engagement by a user along a path of travel forwardly away from the pelvic stabilization pad.
EXPANDABLE EXERCISE SYSTEM
An expandable exercise system is used for mounting a part of an ancillary exercise device. The expandable exercise system includes a main exercise device and another part of the ancillary exercise device. The main exercise device includes a coupling seat. The other part of the ancillary exercise device is pre-mounted to the coupling seat and detachably connected with the part of the ancillary exercise device to form the ancillary exercise device, thereby easily increasing or decreasing the number of training modules to enhance the convenience of product use.
