Exercise bicycle configured to provide fan-based resistance and fan wheel thereof
An exercise bicycle configured to provide fan-based resistance and a fan wheel thereof are disclosed. The fan wheel includes a hub and a plurality of vanes. The hub includes a pivot portion and a plurality of mounting portions. The mounting portions are arranged in an annular manner around a center defined by the pivot portion and each have a groove. Each vane includes a connecting end inserted into a corresponding one of the mounting portions and fixedly connected to the corresponding mounting portion by a plurality of fasteners. The fan wheel is thus easy to manufacture and assemble.
PASSIVE-TYPE TREADMILL
A passive-type treadmill is disclosed which includes a closed-loop belt rolling around two spaced apart rollers for providing a running platform, a first and a second handrail parallel to each other and extended upward angling to a surface of the closed-loop belt at larger than 45 degrees, and a towel rack having at least a first and a second clip for stretching a towel between the first and the second handrail.
Apparel item with integrated parachute structure
Aspects herein provide for an apparel item having an integrated parachute structure and a set of intake ducts. The parachute structure is configured to transition from a first slack state to a second inflated state subsequent to air entering the set of intake ducts incident to ground locomotion of the wearer thereby increasing air resistance to wearer movement.
Inhalation training device and system for practicing of an inhalation process of a patient
An inhalation training device and inhalation training system for practicing of an inhalation process of a patient. The inhalation training device has a that is housing attachable to and detachable from a mouthpiece of an inhaler designed to provide a drug to the patient and a microphone adapted to measure the airflow occurring in the mouthpiece of the inhaler during an inhalation process of the patient. The inhalation training system includes the inhalation training device, an inhaler and an electronic device configured for evaluation of a signal received from the inhalation training device and for visual and/or audio feedback to the patient.
Exercise machine
Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.
EXERCISE ASSEMBLY FOR PERFORMING DIFFERENT ROWING ROUTINES
An exercise assembly structured to perform different rowing routines characterized different rowing motions. A resistance device is movable within a chamber and is cooperatively structured therewith to resist such movement. A drive assembly includes two drive sections each independently connected in driving relation to said resistance device. A connector structure includes two connector members each attached to a handle and connected in driving relation to a different one of said drive sections. The handle is selectively movable through the plurality of different rowing motions, at least one of which results in the two drive sections concurrently driving the resistance member and being concurrently driven by the two connector members. At least one other rowing motion of the handle is defined by each drive section alternately driving the resistance member and being alternately driven by interconnected ones of said connector members.
Incentive spirometer for sustained maximal inspiration
An incentive spirometer is provided that allows a user to achieve Sustained Maximal Inspiration (SMI) through the use of helical tubes. Specifically, the incentive spirometer includes three chambers, wherein each chamber includes a ball traveling upwards through three helical tubes in sequential order and subsequently dropping down through a basket. Here, each of the helical tubes and corresponding baskets generally represent various levels of lung capacity achieved with repetitive use and operation of the incentive spirometer.
Lacrosse Training Device
A sports training apparatus for practicing lacrosse comprising an elongate rigid member extending along a length between first and second ends, first and second stops secured to the elongate rigid member, and a slidable mass on the elongate rigid member, slidable along the elongate rigid member between the first and second stops. A kit for retrofitting a lacrosse stick for practicing lacrosse comprising first and second stops, securable to a lacrosse stick; and a slidable mass, having a passage along an axis there through. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
TENNIS TRAINING APPARATUS
A sports training/exercise apparatus attached to a swinging sports apparatus, typically a racquet and most specifically a tennis racquet. The apparatus includes a drag chute with a rigid member disposed therearound and a clamp secured to each side of the drag chute. A transverse support rod is positioned between the clamps and includes an aperture therein, The apparatus further includes brackets at the top and bottom of the racquet head. A longitudinal support rod is positioned between the brackets and extends through the aperture in the transverse support rod. Thus, the transverse support rod, the side clamps, and the drag chute are slidable along the longitudinal support rod to adjust resistance. A locking mechanism can be used to lock the transverse support rod in a position along the longitudinal support rod.
MAGNETORESISTANCE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE OF FITNESS EQUIPMENT
An improved magnetoresistance adjustment device of fitness equipment suitable for using in a fan-type fitness equipment. The fitness equipment being disposed with a traction rope, and comprising: a resistance wheel mounted on the fitness equipment and having a wheel and an axle, the axle being mounted on the wheel; a magnetoresistive ring mounted on the resistance wheel; a fixing member fixedly mounted on the axle and being disposed with a positioning bolt, a direction of the fixing member extending to the magnetoresistive ring being a displacement direction; a displacement member having a displacement hole, a fixing portion and a magnetoresistive portion, the displacement hole allowing the positioning bolt to pass through, and the displacement member repeatedly displacing along the displacement direction to bring the magnetoresistive portion closer to or away from the magnetoresistive ring, and the fixing portion being connected to the traction rope and driven by the traction rope.
