Exercise machine with electromagnetic resistance selection
An exercise machine with electromagnetic resistance selection for changing exercise resistance settings by engaging more or fewer resistance biasing members using a electromagnets. An example implementation includes a movable carriage configured to move substantially along the length of one or more rails. A plurality of resistance biasing members are removably attachable between a stationary biasing member bracket affixed to the machine structure and the movable carriage. A controller changes the resistance settings against the movable carriage by electrically attaching or detaching any preferred number of resistance biasing members between the machine structure and movable carriage.
Adjustable resistance exercise machine
An adjustable resistance exercise machine for providing variable resistance forces on a pull cable extending from the machine. The adjustable resistance exercise machine generally includes a plurality of power springs that may be selectively engaged using a cam mechanism. By engaging springs with different forces, the resistance may be adjusted incrementally as preferred for performing different exercises. The adjustable resistance exercise machine may be connected to various structures, either below or above an exerciser, to allow the exerciser to choose whether to pull the pull cable up or down during exercise.
TRAMPOLINE
A trampoline having a frame and a jumping mat formed in a single piece from woven elasticated material. The trampoline has a flat base portion lower than the periphery of the jumping mat, and an integral side portion continuous with the base portion around the entire periphery thereof and extending to the periphery of the jumping mat. The jumping mat is connected to the frame by at least two biasing connectors to be supported under tension above ground or floor. The frame may include a first circumextending support coupled to the periphery of the jumping mat by at least one biasing connector to support the periphery of the jumping mat above the ground or floor. A circumextending safety enclosure net has first and second portions extending respectively above and below the level of the first circumextending support. the second portion extending to a second circumextending support forming part of the frame.
Pilates Exercise Machine
In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL EXERCISE APPARATUS
A multifunctional exercise apparatus for exercise of humans, in particular astronauts, said apparatus comprising a first module (1) comprising a cable reel system (2) operably connected to a torque resistance mechanism (3), and a second module (4) comprising a flywheel (5) and a brake (6) for providing resistance to the flywheel. The ability provided by the present invention for developing exercises in which the flywheel and a brake in combination with the torque resistance mechanism provides for further possibilities for training body joints and muscle groups.
Dumbbell safety, defensive and alerting assembly
An exercise device having a bar with a first handle, a grip exerciser having a second handle connected to the bar via a resistance member proximate the first handle and moveable between a first position and a second position by a hand of a user; and an auxiliary device connected to the bar selected from a light assembly, a sound generator, an electrified defensive unit, a pressurized defensive unit, and combinations of the same.
MODULAR CABLE-BASED RESISTANCE WORKOUT DEVICE
Cable training devices are disclosed that are modular, lightweight, and portable. The disclosed cable training devices can be mounted to virtually any accessible surface or object via a modular mounting platform. The cable training devices include a base unit that is easily attachable to and removable from one or more modular spring plates that provide resistance. The base unit contains a reel or spool with a cable wound around it. Pulling on the cable is resisted by the attached modular spring plates, which each contain a coil or power spring. The modular spring plates can be added or removed from the base unit to vary the resistive force applied to the cable.

The ability provided by the present invention for developing exercises in which the flywheel and a brake in combination with the torque resistance mechanism provides for further possibilities for training body joints and muscle groups.
Wearable Exercise Device With Adjustable Resistance
A wearable exercise device with adjustable resistance adjustment controls includes a strap having a first fastener on a first end and a second mating fastener on a second end, wherein the strap is configured to removably secure around a user's waist. A housing connected to the strap, which includes a pair of internal spools each operably connected to a spring-loaded resistance mechanism. A cable is affixed at one end to each internal spool. The cables extend outwardly from opposing sides of the housing through a pair of cable openings. A handle is connected to an opposing end of each cable. A pair of resistance adjustment controls disposed on the housing are operably connected to each spring-loaded resistance mechanism. The user can wear the waist strap and grasp the handles to perform arm exercises. The resistance adjustment controls allow the user to independently adjust the resistance of each cable.
