A drinking vessel includes a bottom, a side wall, an open top, an interior reservoir for holding a liquid beverage, and a handle integrally molded with the side wall. A base plate includes a shaft extending upwardly from a top surface and including screw threads for threaded engagement within a threaded bore in the bottom of the drinking vessel. A weight plate with a central aperture fits over the threaded shaft and is sandwiched between the base plate and the bottom of the drinking vessel to thereby removably secure the weight plate on the bottom of the drinking vessel. In one embodiment, the drinking vessel is a beer mug. In another embodiment, the drinking vessel is a coffee mug. A further embodiment includes an insulated sleeve that fits snugly within the interior reservoir of the drinking vessel for holding a beverage can or bottle.

An aquatic exercise apparatus for applying a resistive force to an exercising swimmer, the apparatus includes a bracket mounted to a vertically oriented surface located above a pool of water, a container, an operational assembly comprising at least one upper pulley attached to the bracket and at least one lower pulley attached to the container, a cord passing through the at least one upper pulley and the at least one lower pulley, and a fastener configured to attach to an animal, where the fastener is attached to a free end of the cord, and where pulling the free end of the cord moves the container upward against gravity.

A weight collar for retaining a weight on a bar, comprising a bar engaging section having an opening for receiving the bar therethrough and a weight engaging section having proximal and distal ends, the weight engaging section extending from the bar engaging section so as to extend at least partially toward the weight when the bar engaging section receives the bar through the opening, the bar engaging section being configured to engage the bar with a gripping force as the weight exerts a rotational force on the distal end of the weight engaging section so as to prevent the weight from sliding off the bar, the distal end of the weight engaging section being orthogonally spaced at least 1 inch from a central axis of the opening, a center of gravity of the collar being orthogonally spaced at least 0.1 inches from the central axis toward the distal end.

Example travel exercise equipment includes a barbell including a first end portion and a second end portion and a pair of yokes. A wrist strengthening device includes a first handle, a second handle coupled to the first handle, and a tightening component coupled to the first handle and the second handle. The tightening component is configured to provide resistance to movement of the first handle and the second handle as the first handle is moved in a first direction and the second handle is moved in a second direction, opposite the first direction. The tightening component includes an outer piece, an inner piece, and a male and a female portion. Movement of the male portion toward the female portion causes space between the inner piece and the outer piece to decrease and friction therebetween to concurrently increase.
