Portable And Adjustably Weighted Containers of Liquid For Fitness training
The inventive concept presented is a fitness training system featuring a plurality of different-sized containers having a detachable, water-tight sealer, by which each container may be filled with a determinable quantity of a liquid, constituting a specific volume. The volume of the inserted liquid equates to a weight in pounds, facilitating the use of each container for exercise and fitness training. In the preferred embodiment, the liquid utilized is ordinary tap water. In this manner, a user may choose from a selection of variously-dimensioned containers, and proceed to fill an appropriate volume of water for creating the desired weight of one or more containers. By use of a handle grip and a stabilizer grip attached to the exterior surface of each container, the user exercises and strengthens a particular muscle or grouping of muscles, including the associated stabilizer muscles.
ADJUSTABLE INDIAN CLUB/LONG HANDLE MACE DEVICE AND METHOD
A handheld device for the purpose of exercise of the human body via added resistance, leverage, torque and/or momentum. The handheld device can be moved freely in any direction or pattern at any speed or pace generated and desired by the user creating a wide variety of resistance, torque and or momentum.
The device will comprise an elongated body of two ends, one end being of a length and circumference to provide a secure gripping surface, the other end of a suitable size and shape to contain a quantity of material in order to adjust the weight. A given material will be contained within the device with a cap or lid. The device will also have an optional extension handle, which when attached to the device, filled with a given material secured by the cap or lid, will provide an even greater variety of exercise using resistance, leverage, torque and/or momentum.
The device may be easily loaded or unloaded with various materials to easily adjust weight for a wide variety of resistance, torque and/or momentum.
Garment including liquid weight resistance
A garment including a garment body configured to be wearable by a person. The garment also includes a first tube selectively coupled to the garment body. The first tube is configured to receive a first desired amount of liquid through a first opening of the first tube. The garment further includes a second tube selectively coupled to the garment body independently of the first tube. The second tube is configured to receive a second desired amount of liquid through a second opening of the second tube. The second tube is fluidly distinct from the first tube.
Sensorimotor device for exercise and rehabilitation
A sensorimotor exercise device including a casing is provided. The casing includes an elongated center member having a first end and a second end, a first end member provided at the first end of the center member and a second end member provided at the second end of the center member. The casing also includes a low viscosity fluid at least partially filing a hollow interior of the sensorimotor exercise device. The center member has a cylindrical shape and the first and second end members have a tapered configuration. A diameter of each of the first and second end members increasing from a first end thereof toward an opposing second end thereof.
MOBILE WEIGHT TRAINING SYSTEM
In one aspect, the invention features a barbell including a first end portion, a second end portion, and a middle portion, where the middle portion is couplable to the first end portion and the second end portion. The middle portion includes a male coupling extending from a first end of the middle portion, the male coupling providing a first coupling mechanism that engages with a corresponding female coupling of the first end portion, and a female coupling providing a second coupling mechanism that engages with a corresponding male coupling of the second end portion.
Exoskeleton system
An exoskeleton (100) system comprises at least one garment selected from the group consisting of a shirt or vest (110), short or pants (120), an upper arm sleeve (130), a lower arm sleeve (140), a thigh sleeve (150), and a leg sleeve (160) wherein the garment may be a multilayer construct that comprises an inner layer (201) of nylon material, a middle layer (202) made of neoprene, an outer layer (203) made of plush material; and an article (300) with attached hook and loop fasteners (301) to be mounted onto the garment by securing the hook and loop fasteners (301) onto any spots or locations of the outer layer (203).
Wrist and forearm strengthening device
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wrist strengthening device having a first handle, a second handle and a tightening mechanism for increasing the resistance between the first handle, the second handle and the tightening mechanism.
OBJECTS AND METHODS FOR BUILDING SMALL MUSCLE FIBERS AND NERVES USING FLUID DISPOSED IN THE OBJECTS
The present disclosure provides for various objects (weights, playing apparatuses, balls, clothing, etc.) that have liquid disposed in them to assist in building and strengthening small muscle fibers and/or nerves. The various objects can include weights, playing apparatuses such as objects that can be swung in sports, balls, and clothing or other objects that can be worn by humans or other animals. The objects include fluid paths and redirections walls disposed within the fluid paths to direct fluid flow to particular areas within the objects. The designated areas to where fluid flow is directed aid in development of small muscle fibers and/or nerves due to the fluid sloshing around at those particular locations. Methods of making and using the various objects disclosed are also provided.
Weighted exercise bag apparatus and methods of use
An exercise bag apparatus, comprising: a cover comprising a first re-sealable opening; an inner sleeve placed within the cover when the exercise bag apparatus is fully assembled, the inner sleeve comprising a second re-sealable opening and an inner cavity configured for holding a weighty substance therein; and at least one user interface disposed on the cover.
Balance board rotational weighted resistance trainer
A resistance trainer that provides for rotational movement, balance training and strength building. The device is an integral one-piece fabricated from wood or plastic that includes a deck that is detachable from the base. The base in includes two separate dome-shaped reservoirs wherein the domes provide instability when in contact with the ground due to the curved surface. Inside of the domed reservoirs is space to add a weighted component, such as standard plate weights or sand or water or other replaceable means of weighting the device. The user can rotate the board using the torso muscles used when surfing or snowboarding and can also balance in a heel to toe direction or a front to back direction for balance and strength building.
