SECURING CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION DURING A TELECOMMUNICATION SESSION
Systems and methods disclosed herein securely provide confidential information associated with a user during an active voice call conducted using the user's mobile device. The confidential information may be provided by generating the information in spoken form and inserting the spoken information into an audio stream of the voice call. For example, a customer may be on a phone call with a customer agent. The customer agent may ask the customer for a credit card number in order to process a financial transaction. The customer may select the credit card number via an application executing on the customer's mobile phone. The application may cause the credit card number to be spoken out loud during the voice call. A voice sample of the spoken credit card number in inserted into the audio stream of the voice call and is therefore, audible to the customer and the customer agent without being overheard by a third party.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR MESSAGING WITHIN A PERSONAL SECURITY NETWORK
Methods and devices using a portable or wearable transistor configured to send an alert message to a personal security network. The personal security network comprises a platform by which users can select an appropriate alert response to a particular social interaction or event. The portable or wearable device comprises an electronics package with radio frequency communication capabilities, so that a user may discreetly and quickly escape from an unsafe or uncomfortable situation, by, for instance, sending out an alert message or causing her mobile phone to ring so that she has a means to excuse herself from the scene.
CURATED SEARCH OF ENTITIES FROM DIAL PAD SELECTIONS
Automated dialing of an entity from a curated list of entities responsive to user selections of dial pad entries, the curated list of entities formed from phrases formed from the dial pad entries. The curated list of entities is based on at least one of user call activity, search engine activity responsive to the phrases, a set of Sender Controlled Media participants, a set of categories of contacts, and entity offerings.
INCENTIVISING ANSWERING CALL IN SMARTPHONE LOCKSCREEN
Conditionally connecting a smart phone to an incoming call based on user interaction with an incentive offer associated with the call that is presented in an incoming call display on a lockscreen of the smart phone. A dialer controlling the incoming call display accesses the incentive offer through a visual portion of a Sender Controlled Media data structure. The dialer can adjust the incentive offer based on user interaction with the incoming call display.
CONFIGURING BUSINESS APPLICATION FOR UTILIZATION OF SENDER CONTROLLED MEDIA SERVICE
A business application that includes a workflow for handling a call is adapted to perform a call service selected from a library of Sender Controlled Media business application services by configuring at least one service from the library for operation with the business application and utilizing the adapted business application to handle calls per the workflow.
ADJUSTING PRESENTATION ON SMART PHONE LOCKSCREEN OF VISUAL CONTENT ASSOCIATED WITH METADATA OF INCOMING CALL
A call handling function executed in response to activation of a link in encoded metadata of an incoming call adjusts presentation of visual content of the incoming call on a lockscreen of a smart phone based on information in the metadata that is descriptive of the incoming call. The incoming call metadata is decoded prior to connecting the incoming call to a dialer function of the smart phone.
Time tolerant prompt detection
The location of voice prompts within a call waveform is usually conducted by match filtering a snippet of the prompt (approx. 800 ms) to the call waveform. In an enhanced process that can accommodate transmission errors when detecting voice prompts on lower quality transmission lines, a snippet of a voice prompt may be divided into sniplets, typically 100 ms long. The sniplets can be individually detected. If a sufficient number of sniplets are detected within allowed time tolerances, then this subset of detected sniplets can indicate the presence of the snippet, and thus the associated voice prompt.
DYNAMIC REWARDABLE ACTIVITY VALUE DETERMINATION AND ALLOCATION
A Sender Controlled Media (SCM) platform user is presented incentives for performing rewardable platform activities that result in accruing points in a user-specific account from which points can be redeemed by transfer or cryptocurrency conversion to an external user-designated wallet. A reward received for each instance of a rewardable platform activity is determined based on a range of platform context including a target average points payout, an aggregated total points payout over a distribution period, and a type of rewardable platform activity.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTEXT AWARE AUDIO ENHANCEMENT
Contact centers strive to provide a positive and productive customer-agent interaction to successfully resolve the issue for a call. While audio content, such as music or messages, on hold are commonplace, selecting audio enhancements to be inserted into, and concurrently with, the customer-agent provides the customer and/or agent with cues and motivations to promote the successful completion of the call. Cues may be provided to announce the arrival or departure of an agent, virtually take a customer from one location to another for a different portion of the interaction, add excitement and anticipation to an upcoming event by providing an audio experience foreshadowing of the actual event, calm frayed nerves, or other purpose.
Management of media content associated with call context on mobile computing devices
A method may include receiving an indication of a call from a caller who is not a participant in a sender-controlled media (SCM) platform to a recipient who is a participant, using caller ID information to gather content pertaining to the caller (e.g., from data stores of the platform and public number search information), generating a SCM data structure based on the gathered content, and delivering the SCM data structure to a call-originating device. In another aspect, a method may include gathering call context for an active call, and developing an understanding of one or more of a call intent, a call participant, and a participant action based on content exchanged between the caller and recipient. Content suggesting algorithms may then determine candidate items of content relevant to the participants of the call for presentation to at least one of the caller and the recipient during the call.
