Multi-beacon meeting attendee proximity tracking
Methods and apparatus for accurately determining whether a mobile electronic device associated with a user is at a meeting location comprise: initiating a scan for a first beacon signal emanating from a first beacon located at the meeting location; detecting the first beacon signal; confirming that the mobile electronic device is within a predetermined proximity of the first beacon based on the first beacon signal; and responsive to confirming that the mobile electronic device is within a predetermined proximity of the first beacon activating a trigger system enabling further resolution of the proximity of the mobile electronic device to the meeting location, wherein the trigger system is located at an entry to the meeting location, and activating a confirmation system to confirm that the mobile electronic device is at the meeting location.
Meeting coordination system and attendee tracking for use in automated multi-media conference call system
Methods for operating a meeting coordinator to initiate a teleconference meeting using an automated teleconferencing system, having corresponding meeting coordinators and computer-readable media, comprise: generating a roster of meeting participants comprising meeting invitees; accessing calendaring information concerning the teleconference meeting, the calendaring information including a time of the meeting; a meeting location; identities of the meeting invitees; and contact information for the meeting invitees; and transmitting at least some of the calendaring information to the teleconferencing system to enable the system to connect remotely-located meeting invitees.
COMMUNICATING METADATA THAT IDENTIFIES A CURRENT SPEAKER
A computer system may communicate metadata that identifies a current speaker. The computer system may receive audio data that represents speech of the current speaker, generate an audio fingerprint of the current speaker based on the audio data, and perform automated speaker recognition by comparing the audio fingerprint of the current speaker against stored audio fingerprints contained in a speaker fingerprint repository. The computer system may communicate data indicating that the current speaker is unrecognized to a client device of an observer and receive tagging information that identifies the current speaker from the client device of the observer. The computer system may store the audio fingerprint of the current speaker and metadata that identifies the current speaker in the speaker fingerprint repository and communicate the metadata that identifies the current speaker to at least one of the client device of the observer or a client device of a different observer.
Conference call alerts
Conference call alerting is provided. A first device of a plurality of telecommunications devices initiates a telecommunications link between the first device and a second device of the plurality of telecommunications devices. The first device receives an interaction that includes a communications address of a third device of the plurality of telecommunications devices. The telecommunications link is modified to include the third device. In response to the third device joining the telecommunications link, the first device issues an alert to the second device and the third device, wherein the alert indicates that the third device has joined the telecommunications link.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO IMPROVE MANAGEMENT DURING A CONFERENCE CALL
A method to operate with electronic computer hardware to manage operations during simultaneous conference calls, the method comprising: processing each ongoing conference call by iteratively performing at a given time integral the following steps for a given conference call; identifying a set of attributes of the given conference call from a conference call database, the set of attributes comprising: an end time, a set of participants, and a set of participant devices of the given conference call; displaying, in real time, a calendar on the display of each device from the set of participant devices; initiating an auto dial procedure for a subsequent conference call after reviewing the calendar to determine if a subsequent call is scheduled for the given time integral; and terminating the given conference call if the end time of the given conference call is scheduled at the given time integral.
Providing conference call aid based on upcoming deadline
Providing a conference call aid based on an upcoming deadline may be provided. In some examples, an application, such as a task management application, detects an expiration of a join duration from a start time of a meeting. In response to the expiration, a late invitee to the meeting is identified. Next, a communication modality to communicate with the late invitee is identified. Furthermore, a communication with the late invitee is established based on the communication modality. A notification to join the meeting is transmitted to the late invitee. The late invitee is notified to join the meeting through the communication.
CONFERENCE CALL ALERTS

The first device receives an interaction that includes a communications address of a third device of the plurality of telecommunications devices. The telecommunications link is modified to include the third device. In response to the third device joining the telecommunications link, the first device issues an alert to the second device and the third device, wherein the alert indicates that the third device has joined the telecommunications link.
System and method for securing a conference bridge from eavesdropping
To provide more secure access to a conference call, a request is received from a user to retrieve a one-time conference passcode; the request includes a personal verification code. In one embodiment, the personal verification code is a digital certificate. The personal verification code is validated. In response to the personal verification code being valid, the user is sent the one-time conference passcode. The user then requests to join the conference call by presenting the one-time conference passcode and a participant code. The one-time conference passcode and the participant code are verified. In response to verifying the one-time conference passcode and the participant code, the user is allowed to join the conference call. The user's name is then displayed in a list of conference participants. This overcomes the security problem of not knowing exactly who is participating in the conference call.
