METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING CONTEXT DATA OF NETWORK FUNCTIONS IN A MOBILE NETWORK
A synchronisation method implemented, in a mobile network, by a first device hosting a network function used for the connection of a mobile terminal to the mobile network. The mobile network includes second devices hosting the network function. The method includes the following steps: establishing a connection with a mobile terminal in order to execute, as the main device, the network function in association with the mobile terminal; determining context data associated with the mobile terminal; recording context data in a memory associated with the first device; and sending context data to secondary devices, from among the second devices of the mobile network, so as to synchronise the context data recorded by the first device and the secondary devices.
System and method for reducing storage space in a contact center
Storing a message in a conversation involving a contact of a contact center and an agent of the contact center includes receiving, by a computer of the contact center, the message, wherein the conversation comprises a plurality of messages and then a) identifying redundant information in the received message that is redundant based on one or more of the plurality of messages; and b) identifying derivable information that is derivable from a data source external to the received message. Next, a modified message is generated by eliminating the redundant information and the derivable information from the received message; and the modified message is stored. The modified message can include a number of separate parts, each selectively compressed by a respective compression algorithm.
System and method for integrated CX-AX contact center testing
A system comprising a call center, contact system test engine, plurality of networks, at least one remote server, at least one remote database, which allows users to automate call center testing and combine synchronized results for agent-customer calls (AX-CX test synchronization). The system is further accomplished with methods, using different techniques for synchronizing the testing for both customer and agent results, and producing these test results in a mobile dashboard and web-accessible dashboard.
Call log management for multiple communication devices using the same address of record
A request to establish a communication is received. For example a request to establish a voice communication is received. The request can be forked to a plurality of communication devices based on an address of record. The address of record is an address associated with multiple communication devices of the same user. The request to establish the communication is stored in a call log entry in a call log. An event associated with the call log entry is received. The event is based information associated with a calling device or a communication device that is not initially part of an established communication session. In response to receiving the event associated with the call log entry, the call log entry in the call log is updated based on the event. The updated call log or the updated call log entry is the sent to the plurality of communication devices.
Techniques to reconfigure messaging clients during contact information changes
Techniques to reconfigure messaging clients during contact information changes are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a messaging component operative to receive a contact phone number update at a messaging client on the client device from a messaging system, the contact phone number update associated with a contact with the messaging client, the contact phone number update comprising a previous phone number and an updated phone number; determine an existing message thread for the messaging client identified based on the previous phone number; and send a user message to the contact via the messaging system using the updated phone number as a destination address; and a user interface component operative to display a contact phone number change notification in the existing message thread; and receive the user message for the contact. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING AND UPDATING MOBILE NETWORK OPERATION INFORMATION AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device which displays and updates Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information includes a memory, a display, a communicator, a user inputter, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the display to display a contact list including telephone number information of a plurality of external devices and Mobile Network Operator (MNO) information of the plurality of external devices, and in response to a user command for selecting one of the plurality of external devices included in the contact list being input, establish a communication connection with the selected external device. The processor is further configured to control the communicator to receive information regarding the MNO information of the external device from the selected external device; and update the contact list based on the MNO information of the external device and store the updated contact list in the memory.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ACCESSING CONTACT LISTS ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT IS UNAVAILABLE OR UNUSABLE
An apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium are provided for accessing data on a phone that is inaccessible. The apparatus includes a memory configured to store a plurality of contact profiles in a contact list corresponding to an inaccessible device, and a processor coupled to the memory. The apparatus receives, from an unknown device over a voice connection, an access identifier corresponding to the inaccessible device and a contact identifier associated with a contact profile of the plurality of contact profiles; identifies the contact list based on matching the access identifier with the inaccessible device; determines a contact device of the contact profile in the contact list corresponding to the contact identifier; and connects, over the voice connection, the unknown device to the contact device corresponding to the contact profile.
Mobile device and server for voice and/or data exchange
A mobile device (101) includes: a memory for storing contact information of the mobile device, a transceiver for exchanging voice and/or data signals within a telecommunications network, wherein the mobile device is configured to: provide (501, 513) the contact information to a server in the network, initiate (202), in response to a first user input, a first voice connection to the server; and at least one of receive (2051), from the server, command data for initiating (2052) a second voice connection to a called party identified in the contact information; and send (2054) authorization to the server to access user credentials included in the contact information.
Dynamic E911 system records updating
Systems and method are directed towards dynamically updating a remote management system of changes in e911 records. An e911 computing system may determine if an e911 record has been deleted from a local database. In response to determining that the e911 record has been deleted, the e911 computing system notifies a management system of the e911 record being deleted. The e911 computing system may also determine if the e911 record is new. In response to determining that the e911 record is new, the e911 computing system provides the e911 record to the management system. The e911 computing system may also determine if the e911 record has changed. In response to determining that the e911 record has changed: the e911 computing system generates a table of changes to the e911 record and provides the table of changes to the management system.
DEVICE MIGRATION
Personalization data such as settings and/or state is migrated across devices including mobile phones. Device personalizations are pushed to a cloud service or other mechanism for backup and subsequent transmission to other devices. The personalization data can later be employed to configure one or more other devices in the same manner as a first device.
