A mobile end-user device includes a secure mobile payment agent. The mobile device indicates to network transaction servers, operated by various third parties, that it has the mobile payment agent capability. A user operating a not-necessarily-secure device application can indicate to a network transaction server the desire to make a purchase. The network transaction server opens a secure connection to the mobile payment agent, which verifies the transaction server as authorized to use mobile payments. The transaction server can then request that the mobile payment agent complete the desired purchase by having the user perform a confirmation action, after which the agent indicates a completed purchase transaction to the server. The mobile payment agent can communicate with a billing server to provide various aspects of the mobile payment capability.

A device can be configured to receive a transmission control protocol (TCP) packet from a user device and determine, based on data included in a header portion of the TCP packet, that the TCP packet includes a toll-free token. The toll-free token included in the TCP packet can be identified, an entity associated with the toll-free token can be identified, and an action can be performed based on the entity.

In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for discovering and tracking uniform resource locators (URLs) for the purposes of managing sponsored data. For instance, in one example, a method includes monitoring a request for a stream of data delivered to a user endpoint device via a content distribution network, wherein the stream of data is accessed via a digital content distribution application running on the user endpoint device, discovering a uniform resource locator associated with the stream of data, and updating a list of sponsored uniform resource locators in accordance with the discovering, wherein the sponsored uniform resource locators comprise uniform resource locators that are permitted to be accessed by the digital content distribution application without impacting a data allowance allocated to the user endpoint device.

A method of adding a value to a customer account is provided. A request to add a value to a customer account of a customer is received from a point of sale terminal. The request may comprise value identification data associated with the value and account identification data associated with the customer account. The customer account identification data may be entered at the point of sale. The request may be associated with a purchase of the value. The value may be caused to be added to the customer account. During subsequent value purchase transactions, additional value may be added to the account.
