Barbell with Reciprocating Weight Sleeves
A free weight barbell with an elongated bar with two rotating weight sleeves and with axially moveable hand grips mounted on the bar located inside the weight sleeves. Each hand grip is attached to the distal end of an elongated rack that extends centrally and longitudinally inside the barbell. The inside ends of the two racks extend to or slightly beyond the bar's center axis. The bar is circular in cross-section and made of solid material with two axially aligned channels formed on opposite sides. The two channels extend from the ends of the lifting bar to a center adapter located over the bar's center axis. The hand grips slide over the ends of the bar and the two racks are inserted into the two opposite channels. The two hand grips and the two racks are coupled to a disc gear that controls the resistance forces exerted on the sliding racks.
Exercise Device
An exercise device for a person exercising on a support surface includes an elongated bar having two opposed ends. A weight has an aperture therethrough and slides along the bar. At least two rigid weight stops are fixed with the bar at selected locations along the bar, the weight free to slide along the bar therebetween. An end caps may be fixed to each end of the cylindrical bar to capture the weight and any weight stops on the cylindrical bar. In use, with the weight slidably captured on the bar, and at least two of the weight stops fixed with the bar on opposing sides of the weight, the person exercises by moving the bar to slide the weight between the at least two weight stops, or by rolling the weight along the support surface while holding on the cylindrical bar in a sit-up style position.
SMART COLLAR FOR WEIGHT LIFTING BAR
A smart collar for a weight lifting bar includes: a body defining a passage for receiving the weight lifting bar; a sensor coupled to the body for sensing motion of the body and generating data related to the motion; and, a processor coupled to the body for receiving the data from the sensor and for processing the data for at least one of storage and transmission.
Dumbbell with adjustable weight
A dumbbell has a grip rod and multiple counterweight blocks. The grip rod has two connection segments each having multiple baffles to define multiple connection recesses between the baffles. The counterweight blocks are engaged respectively with the connection recesses. Each counterweight block has a body and a buckle. The body has an engaging channel extending from a center to an edge of the body and being expandable. The engaging channel has an opening and two protrusions to form an engaging space for being mounted around one of the connection segments. The buckle has a first end and a second end. The first end is connected pivotally to the body and at a position on one of two sides of the engaging channel. The second end is connected detachably with the body at a position on the other one of the two sides of the engaging channel.
Quick-release clamp assembly for weightlifting bar
A quick-release clamp assembly for a weightlifting bar has first and second clamp members connected together by a pivot connection for rotation about a pivot axis. The first and second members are movable about the pivot axis between an open position in which the clamp assembly can be placed on and removed from the weightlifting bar, and a closed position in which the clamp assembly is clamped securely onto the weightlifting bar. The first clamp member has first and second resilient bar engaging structures spaced from the pivot axis. An adjustable third bar engaging structure projects inwardly from the second clamp member adjacent to the pivot axis. The third bar engaging structure is arranged to engage an outer surface of the weightlifting bar and to move to an over-center locking condition when the first and second clamp members move from their open position to their closed position.
ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELL AND KETTLEBELL STRUCTURES
A weight-lifting device having a shaft; at least one pair of weight plates, and a securing means. The at least one pair of weight plates are suitable to be connected to the shaft. At least one of the weights is provided with a recessed portion suitable to house the shaft or part thereof. The securing means are suitable to hold the pair of weights in close positioned relationship with one another and with the shaft when in a packed position.
DUMBBELL
A dumbbell with a selectable number of weight disks includes a handle with pins projectable in opposing directions, a base assembly for accommodating two sets of weight disks standing upright, and having through-going openings. Neighbouring weight disks have mutually cooperating connecting arrangements which axially interconnect the weight disks but which permit radial separation. The projection lengths of the pins are stepwise selectable in order thereby to permit selection of the number of weight disks carried on the handle. The handle has, in opposing ends, connecting arrangements for interconnecting with the connecting arrangements of the innermost weight disks in the base assembly. Further, the space between the connecting arrangements of the handle is free through 360° about the handle throughout its entire length, the openings of the weight disks being centrally located.
Dumbbell and barbell supporting system
A dumbbell and barbell supporting system includes two tables rotatably attached to a base and rotatable relative to the base to two working positions where the tables are inclined relative to each other or are in line with each other, and two dumbbells disposed on the tables, the dumbbells each include two or more weight members or two weight elements, and a handlebar engageable with the weight members and the weight elements for detachably coupling the weight members and the weight elements to the handlebar, the tables are rotatable to be in lined with each other, and a longitudinal bar engageable with the weight members and the weight elements for forming a barbell exerciser device.
Versatile Weight Bar Assembly
A barbell assembly includes a main bar having a pair of opposing, internally threaded ends and a central collar. A longer extension bar includes an externally threaded post at a first end and a cap at the opposing end. A weight disc with a central aperture is slidable onto either the main bar or the extension bar depending upon an exercise to be performed. The main bar and weight disc can be used independently to perform a myriad of resistance exercises somewhat similar to a conventional dumbbell. Alternatively, the threaded post on the extension bar can be secured to either end of the main bar to allow a user to perform various exercises that require an elongated implement having a weighted end.
Adjustable exercise device
An adjustable exercise device includes two weight members engageable to a receptacle, two pairs of weight elements engaged on the receptacle and engaged between the weight members, and a handle mechanism includes two housings disposed on the end portions of a handle bar, two actuators pivotally attached to the handle bar for engaging with the weight elements, the actuators each include one segment for engaging with one of the weight elements, and another segment for engaging with the other weight element and for detachably anchoring the weight elements to the housings and the handle bar and for micro-adjusting the weight of the adjustable exercise device.
