The device includes: a second transmitting unit to transmit the display request to the apparatus; a receiving unit to receive the application list screen from the apparatus; and a display controller to display the application list screen.

An image formation apparatus includes: a network interface connectable to another image formation apparatus via a network; and a controller that controls the image formation apparatus. In accordance with one embodiment, a setting method of an image forming apparatus including displaying character codes that the image forming apparatus supports in a case where the import of data to the image forming apparatus is instructed; receiving a selection of the character code of the data to be imported to the image forming apparatus from the displayed character codes; and importing, if the character code of the data to be imported is selected, the data to the image forming apparatus in the selected character code.
