The tilt panel is configured to pivot in a touch direction. The tilt panel includes: a touch panel disposed on a front surface of the tilt panel; and a power button disposed on a part of a periphery of the tilt panel, a press direction of the power button intersecting the touch direction of the touch panel.

A support device is applied to support a contact image sensor of an image capture apparatus, which includes a guide rod. The support device includes a slide sleeve and an elastic rod. The slide sleeve, which has a groove, is movably disposed on the guide rod, and a portion of the guide rod is accommodated within the groove. The elastic rod is disposed on the slide sleeve to directly support the contact image sensor. The elastic rod abuts against the contact image sensor, so that the contact image sensor is pushed upwardly, and the contact image sensor is stably kept in the same direction while the slide sleeve is slid on the guide rod. Therefore, the entirety of the support device can achieve the advantages of stably supporting the contact image sensor in balance without using any sliding bracket.

An image reading apparatus for reading image information from a sheet includes a cover unit, a sheet feeding member, a conveying guide, and a reading unit including a transparent member and a reading portion. The cover unit is rotatable between a closed position where the cover unit forms a sheet conveying passage in cooperation with the conveying guide and an open position where the sheet conveying passage is open. In a state in which the cover unit is positioned in the closed position, the transparent member is exposed to an outside of the image reading apparatus by rotation of the conveying guide and the reading unit.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, a casing, an image reading portion, a first controller substrate provided on one of side surfaces of the casing, a second controller substrate provided on the side surface, wherein a component mounting surface of the second controller substrate is in a non-overlapping position with a component mounting surface of the first controller substrate, an electric wire configured to connect the first controller portion and the image reading portion, and a shielding member fixed to the casing so as to be provided between the electric wire and the second controller substrate and configured to shield electromagnetic radiation from the second controller substrate toward the electric wire.

An image reading apparatus includes a reading device having an opening in an upper surface thereof, a main device disposed below the reading device, a first cable connected to the reading device and the main device and including a first portion, a retaining portion disposed in the main device, and a groove portion. The retaining portion is configured to retain the first portion of the first cable such that the first portion has a substantially U-shaped curve, which is curved downwardly, and such that a liquid passes through the opening of the reading device, runs on the first portion downwardly and drops down from a lower end of the substantially U-shaped curve in the first portion of the first cable. The groove portion is configured to receive the liquid dropping down from the lower end of the substantially U-shaped curve in the first portion of the first cable.

An image reading apparatus includes a scanner unit including a first image reading portion configured to read an image of a first surface of a document through a first flow-reading glass, an ADF including a second image reading portion disposed on an opposite side of the first image reading portion across a sheet conveyance path and reading an image of a second surface of the document through a second flow-reading glass. The image reading apparatus further includes a gap forming member disposed on either one of the second flow-reading glass and a moving guide unit and abutting with another one of them. The moving guide unit is provided in the scanner unit and is urged by springs to be movable toward the second flow-reading glass.

A medium feeding device includes: a medium mounting section onto which a medium to be fed is mounted; a feeding unit that feeds the medium mounted on the medium mounting section; and a supporting member that supports an end in a width direction of the medium mounted on the medium mounting section and that supports the medium at a higher position than the medium mounting section in a direction of loading of the medium, the width direction being a direction crossing a feed direction.

The present disclosure discloses an operation panel for an imaging device and an imaging device thereof. The operation panel comprises: a panel body hinged to a connector through a pin shaft; a positioning system comprising a first ratchet wheel and a backstop, wherein the first ratchet wheel is sleeved on the pin shaft and coupled to the panel body, the backstop is arranged on the connector and configured to clamp the first ratchet wheel when the first ratchet wheel rotates reversely so as to position the first ratchet wheel, and the backstop is coupled to the connector and slides at least in a direction parallel to an axial direction of the pin shaft; and a driving system coupled to the backstop and configured to drive the backstop to slide at least in the direction parallel to the axial direction of the pin shaft.

An image forming apparatus includes: an operation panel having an operation surface for accepting operations from a user; a photovoltaic module for generating electric power upon reception of light; and a support member for supporting the photovoltaic module in such a way that the photovoltaic module is placed above the operation surface of the operation panel. The operation portion operated from outside the main unit is displaceable in a direction in which the lock portion deforms from the locking shape into the releasing shape. The mounting portion includes a second restricting portion and a part. The second restricting portion restricts displacement of the operation portion in the cover member mounted on the mounting portion in the second orientation. The part has a second aperture opening into the lock portion in the cover member mounted on the mounting portion in the second orientation from outside the main unit. The second aperture is an opening for the insertion of a tool for deforming the lock portion from the locking shape into the releasing shape.
