IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THAT ESTABLISHES SHORT-RANGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND AN EXTERNAL DEVICE
An image forming apparatus includes a first casing, a second casing, a support portion, an indication, and a USB port. The first casing includes a sheet discharge tray disposed at a top surface thereof. The indication is located at a portion of one of the top surface of the first casing and the support portion, and is positioned outside the sheet discharge tray in a width direction. The portion is located closer to one end of the image forming apparatus in the width direction than the other end of the image forming apparatus opposite to the one end in the width direction. The USB port is disposed at a portion of one of the second casing and the support portion closer to the one end than the other end in the width direction, and is located at a different position in an up-down direction from the indication.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, a door, a first guide, a second guide configured to move from a first position to a second position, a first illumination device configured to illuminate a door side of the second guide positioned in the second position, the door side of the second guide being closer to the door than a conveyance center line of the conveyance path in a width direction orthogonal to a sheet conveyance direction of a sheet which is conveyed in the conveyance path, and a second illumination device configured to illuminate in a direction different from a direction in which the first illumination device illuminates, the second illumination device being configured to illuminate a space between the first guide and the second guide positioned in the second position.
CASING STRUCTURE, OPTICAL SCANNER, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A casing structure, an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus. The casing structure includes a casing having an opening, a cover that covers the opening of the casing, and a seal disposed between the casing and the cover. In the casing structure, the cover is openable and closable with respect to the casing, and the seal contacting the casing and the cover when the cover is closed. In the casing structure, the casing or the cover including at least one portion contained in the seal in a cross section taken in a direction the cover is opened or closed. The optical scanner includes the casing structure. In the optical scanner, the casing stores a plurality of components to be applied to an image forming apparatus, and the cover has an optical element through which light passes. The image forming apparatus includes the optical scanner.
PRINTER
A printer includes: a board including a connector unit that includes at least a power supply connector into which a power cable is to be removably inserted; and a housing including: a housing main body that accommodates the board and includes a cable connection groove through which the power cable is inserted in an inserting and removing direction of the power cable; and a connector cover configured to cover the cable connection groove, wherein the connector cover includes: a cover main body including a power supply opening portion passing through the cover main body in the inserting and removing direction, and a first interface opening portion passing through the cover main body in the inserting and removing direction; and a first opening cover portion configured to cover at least a part of the first interface opening portion, wherein the first opening cover portion includes a first coupling portion configured to couple the first opening cover portion and the cover main body to each other.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a recording section that records information on a medium; a main body provided with the recording section; and a tilt panel that allows a setting operation of the main body. The tilt panel is configured to pivot in a touch direction. The tilt panel includes: a touch panel disposed on a front surface of the tilt panel; and a power button disposed on a part of a periphery of the tilt panel, a press direction of the power button intersecting the touch direction of the touch panel.
Document conveying apparatus, image reading apparatus, and image forming apparatus
A document conveyance apparatus includes a feed roller, a first and a second conveyance rollers, a conveyance shaft, an arm portion rotatably moving the feed roller to a standby position to a feeding position, a transmission portion transmitting rotation of the conveyance roller shaft to the arm portion, and a torque limiter. The feed roller and the first conveyance roller rotate in a conveyance direction when the conveyance roller shaft rotates in a first direction, and the feed roller moves from a feeding position to a standby position when the conveyance roller shaft rotates in a second direction. When a document fed by the second conveyance roller moves through a nip portion, a transmission portion does not transmit rotation of the first conveyance roller rotated in the second direction by the separation roller to an arm portion by operation of the torque limiter.
Lighting device and image reading device
A lighting device includes a rod-shaped light guide, a light guide holder, and an opening optically communicating with the hole. The opening is formed in a first flat surface opposite to a surface into which an end surface of the light guide is inserted. The device also includes a housing, a light source base plate, and a base plate protection layer being formed on a region of the light source base plate other than at least a region on which a light source element is formed. At least one of the light source base plate and the second flat surface of the base plate protection layer is pressed against the housing or the first flat surface at a position at which light emitted by the light source element enters the end surface of the light guide exposed from the opening.
Reading device
The reading device of the present disclosure includes a housing, a first irradiation part, an imaging device, and a first diffusion part. The housing has an opening in an upper portion with a transparent reading window member. The first irradiation part emits an infrared light. The imaging device is disposed on a bottom portion such that an optical axis is directed to a reading window member. The first diffusion part is disposed on a left side wall connecting the upper and bottom portions. The first diffusion part diffuses the infrared light. The first diffusion part is made up of a light-transmitting first diffusion plate and a light-transmitting second diffusion plate. The first diffusion plate is disposed on the bottom surface side and inclined toward the upper portion. The second diffusion plate is disposed on the upper surface side and inclined toward the bottom portion.
SCANNING MODULE AND SCANNER INCLUDING THE SCANNING MODULE
A scanner includes a scanning module. The scanning module has a scan channel and a scanning glass. A lower surface of the scanner is defined as a bottom wall of the scan channel. The scanning glass is positioned above the scan channel. A bottom surface of the scanning glass is defined as a top wall of the scan channel. The lower surface of the scanner has an upstream turn connected between an upstream section and a middle section of the lower surface of the scanner, the middle section of the lower surface of the scanner is parallel with the bottom surface of the scanning glass.

An image forming apparatus includes a first casing, a second casing, a support portion, an indication, and a USB port. The first casing includes a sheet discharge tray disposed at a top surface thereof. The indication is located at a portion of one of the top surface of the first casing and the support portion, and is positioned outside the sheet discharge tray in a width direction. The portion is located closer to one end of the image forming apparatus in the width direction than the other end of the image forming apparatus opposite to the one end in the width direction. The USB port is disposed at a portion of one of the second casing and the support portion closer to the one end than the other end in the width direction, and is located at a different position in an up-down direction from the indication.
