A display device includes an assembly including a stand placed on an installation plane, a flat-plate-like display section supported by the stand, and a weight object provided on a back face side of the display section, the stand having a contact portion in contact with the installation plane, the contact portion being provided inside a first triangle formed by second and third straight lines and the installation plane, the second and third straight lines both passing through center of gravity of the display section and forming, with respect to a first straight line, an angle equal to a back-falling angle and a front-falling angle of the assembly, respectively, and the first straight line passing through the center of gravity of the display section and being perpendicular to the installation plane.

An image-reading auxiliary apparatus includes a housing that shields a medium from environmental light, an external device holding unit that holds an external device that captures an image of the medium, a light source that illuminates the medium, an illuminance sensor that detects whether the external device is held by the external device holding unit, a housing control unit that controls the light source so as not to emit light when the illuminance sensor detects that the external device is not held by the external device holding unit, and an opening/closing interlocking switch that activates the housing control unit to start to control the light source when the housing is opened from a folded state.

An image reading apparatus includes a support section in contact with a mounting surface on which the apparatus is mounted, an apparatus body including a reader, the apparatus body, and a position holding section. The position of the apparatus body can be switched between a first position in which the apparatus body is not in use and a second position in which the apparatus body reads a document using the reader, and in which a projected area of the apparatus body on the mounting surface is larger than that in the first position, and the center of gravity of the apparatus body is lower than or equal to a rotation axis center of the apparatus body in a vertical direction viewed in a rotation axis direction of the apparatus body when the apparatus body is in the first position or in the second position.

An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a base, a holder and a connecting rod. The main body has a bottom surface, a top surface, a lower surface, a paper outlet and a paper inlet. The base has a bottom board being adjacent to the paper outlet, at least one vertical board being connected to the bottom board and being pivoted on the main body, and a first hinge being located at the bottom board. The holder has a beam, at least one support arm being connected to the beam, and a second hinge being located at the beam. The tip portion is higher than the vertical board. The connecting rod has opposite end portions being pivoted on the first hinge and the second hinge respectively. As described above, the occupying area is further reduced in an unused status.

A metal frame of an image forming apparatus includes a first support which includes a first metal plate and a second metal plate; a second support configured to support the image forming unit together with the first support; and a third support configured to connect the first support and the second support. The first metal plate includes a corner portion provided between a first portion and a second portion. The second metal plate includes a third portion, a fourth portion, and a fifth portion, wherein the fifth portion includes another corner portion located between a first stretched portion and a second stretched portion facing the corner portion of the first metal plate. A tip of the second stretched portion faces the fourth portion.

An apparatus includes a portable case, and a slide-out printer is connected to the portable case. The slide-out printer is connected so as to slide in and out of the portable case. The slide-out printer includes a scanner, and the scanner includes a platen. The apparatus also includes a slide-out shredder connected to the portable case. The slide-out shredder is similarly connected to slide in and out of the portable case.
FOLDABLE CAMERA STAND
A foldable camera stand is disclosed which includes an elongated base plate, an imaging device, and an elongated first arm plate with a first end movably coupled to the base plate and a second end pivotally connected to the imaging device, the first end being opposite to the second end, wherein the imaging device and the first arm plate are approximately in the same plane which is substantially parallel to the base plate when the camera stand is in a folded state.
Method and system for acquiring multi-angle images of a product
A system for acquiring multi-angle images of a product includes a workstation having a working surface for placing a product, a camera supporting member having a vertical axis, and an image capturing device movably attached to the camera supporting member so that it may move along the vertical axis of the camera supporting member. The system captures and analyzes a digital image of a product to detect the vertical center of the product, and adjusts the position of the image capturing device along the vertical axis so that the vertical center of the product is proximate to the vertical center of the image. The system may also have a turntable and additionally rotate the turntable at multiple capturing angles and capture one or more additional digital images of the product at various capturing angles and store the one or more additional images in a product database.
Image reading apparatus
An apparatus body of an image reading apparatus is turnably provided to a body supporting portion. The apparatus body is turned so as to be switchable between a first posture and a second posture that forms an angle between a reading transportation path and a mounting surface being smaller than the corresponding angle formed in the first posture. A transportation path switching unit couples the reading transportation path to a reverse transportation path when the apparatus body takes the first posture, and couples the reading transportation path to a non-reverse transportation path when the apparatus body takes the second posture.
ANTI-SLIP DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
An anti-slip device for preventing an installed image forming device from slipping on an installation surface. The anti-slip device includes an operation portion that can be moved by a user, a movable portion, and an anti-slip member. The movable portion has a bottom surface and moves in conjunction with movement of the operation portion to move from a first position to a second position above the first position. The anti-slip member is provided on the bottom surface of the movable portion and comes into contact with the installation surface when the movable portion is in the first position and separates from the installation surface when the movable portion is raised from the first position to the second position.
