An image forming apparatus includes: a printer that prints a plurality of images in a state where the plurality of images are divided in a plurality of lanes on a continuous sheet, the plurality of lanes respectively corresponding to the plurality of images; an inspector that reads each of the plurality of images printed on the continuous sheet and conducts an inspection; and a hardware processor that controls the printer to reprint an image that has been detected to be abnormal on the continuous sheet on which the image that has been detected to be abnormal has been printed, in a case where any of the plurality of images has been detected to be abnormal in the inspection conducted by the inspector.

An information processing device includes a retaining unit and an image display. The retaining unit retains image-formation-related information of an image forming apparatus that forms an image. The image display causes a display section of a portable terminal having the display section and an image capturing section to display an image for assisting with an operation of the image forming apparatus based on a captured image result of the image capturing section and the image-formation-related information retained in the retaining unit.

A printing apparatus for printing on an elongate printing medium includes the following elements: a transport mechanism for transporting the printing medium; a printing unit including a plurality of print heads arranged at intervals in a transport direction; a detecting unit including at least three detectors arranged as spaced from one another for detecting positions in a width direction of the printing medium; a variation history acquirer for deriving, for each detection cycle, a function approximate curve based on positions of the same location in the transport direction of the printing medium detected by the respective detectors, and acquiring from each function approximate curve, and as a variation history, a deviation amount in the width direction in each of the printing positions; a predicted position calculator for calculating, from the variation history, a predicted position in the width direction for each of the printing position; and a printing controller for printing while correcting the position based on the predicted position.
