09656115 · 2017-05-23 · ·

A training device includes a continuous elastic loop having attached thereon at least one of a hand grip or a foot cradle, a non-scissoring sleeve slidably wrapped around a first portion of the continuous elastic loop, and an anchoring portion non-slidably connected to the non-scissoring sleeve. The elastic loop provides uniform resistance (i.e., tension) while providing total body muscle engagement whether conducting isometric, concentric, or eccentric muscle contractions. The training device provides portability, ease of use and greater effectiveness for the user while exercising.

Door-mounted portable exercise apparatus
09636535 · 2017-05-02 ·

A door-mounted portable exercise apparatus having a non-elastic adjustable strap that extends vertically around a door. An attached connector maintains the adjustable strap in a snug position around the door. A first anchor and a second anchor are secured to the adjustable strap by a re-enforcing strap near the top edge of the door. When the door is closed, the first anchor is positioned near the junction of the closing face of the door and the door frame, and the second anchor is positioned near the junction of the opening face of the door and the door frame. At least two non-elastic loops are attached near the top and bottom of the adjustable strap by short strips on the closing side of the door. Elastic bands of various tensions can be attached to or passed through at least one non-elastic loop of the apparatus to permit a wide range of exercise motions by a user.

Stretching device

A stretching device that enables a user to employ the mechanical advantage of a multi-pulley system while performing various, prolonged muscle stretches; the stretching device including a first anchor assembly, a second anchor assembly, and a motion transfer line. The first motion transfer line has a first anchor body and a first motion transfer pulley; the first anchor body being attached to the user and the first motion transfer pulley being coupled to the first anchor body. Similarly, the second motion transfer line has a second anchor body and a second motion transfer pulley; the second anchor body being attached to a stationary object and the second motion transfer pulley being coupled to the second anchor body. The motion transfer line is terminally attached to the first anchor body and is trained around both the first motion transfer pulley and the second motion transfer pulley.

Sit-up foot anchor

The sit-up foot anchor includes a door bumper that includes a planar section that extends over to a pair of footholds. The pair of footholds is parallel with one another, and are hemi-cylindrical cavities adapted to receive a foot of an end user therein. The planar section is adapted to be positioned underneath a door, and the door bumper is adapted to be positioned on a first side of said door whereas the pair of footholds is adapted to be positioned on a second side of said door. In use, the device utilizes said door in order to securely hold feet of said end user while said end user conducts a sit-up.

MULTIPURPOSE FITNESS APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLY
20170080271 · 2017-03-23 ·

A fitness apparatus and a method for assembly are disclosed. The fitness apparatus comprises a wheel assembly that includes a first circular side parallel to a second circular side, both bounded by a curved tread. Within the wheel assembly is an enclosable storage chamber. The fitness apparatus also includes an axis perpendicular to the first circular side and the second circular side, and when the fitness apparatus is in an abdominal exercise wheel configuration, at least a portion of the wheel assembly rotates around the axis. The fitness apparatus also includes a centerbore along the axis that supports a first removable handle and a second removable handle when the fitness apparatus is in the abdominal exercise wheel configuration.

Multipurpose Exercise Training Device
20170050065 · 2017-02-23 ·

An exercise device having many advantageous features is described, including the ability to provide users with multiple modes of training by transforming the device into different configurations. Users can exercise their cardiovascular endurance by using the device in its jump rope configuration. Users can also engage in muscular resistance training using the same device configured to one of multiple possible resistance training configurations. Resistance training configurations provide a method of suspending users' bodyweight such that they can train their muscular strength capacity by exerting themselves against the force of gravity. Resistance can be selected from nearly zero resistance to a user's full body weight, with the ability to easily adjust between exercises and between users, and the ability to easily transform the device between configurations to provide for versatility and ease-of-use. The device includes an inelastic length member with two clip assemblies and two handles and/or grips at both ends.

MUSCLE THERAPY DEVICE
20170021219 · 2017-01-26 ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a portable muscle therapy device that can be used for physical therapy, fitness and exercise by creating compression to a joint/muscle while performing movement exercise (flossing) to restore mobility and pain relief. The muscle therapy device may include an elongated shaft comprised of a plurality of detachable segments that allow a user to change the length of the elongated shaft and convert the elongated shaft into separate bars. For example two bars may be formed, one for each hand of the user, and a resistance band may be attached to each bar. Additionally, the muscle therapy device of the present disclosure provides for the ability to attach a handle on one end of the elongated shaft to mimic a canoeing and stand up paddle for back, core and shoulder exercise.

Straddle door mount travel gym system

An exercise system includes a door stop and a door sleeve having an elongated sleeve body with a U-shaped channel along the bottom surface. The door sleeve is positioned along the top wall of a door with the sides of the sleeve straddling the top wall. A security anchor connects the back of the door sleeve to the back of the door via an adjustable length tether. A resistance cable device is provided and includes an elastic band having handles along each end. The band is positioned across the top of the door sleeve and is retained in place by a pair of cable stops extending upward from the top surface of the door sleeve.

STRETCH-ASSISTING PLATFORM
20250242193 · 2025-07-31 ·

A stretch-assisting device, adapted for mounting in a vertical orientation on a door, wall or analogous vertical substrate, features an upper framework portion and a lower framework portion, coupled together. Each framework portion consists essentially of hollow rigid tubing arranged in a loop shape, with attached metal rings which project horizontally. Through each plurality of metal rings, an elastic cord is threaded, and joined to form a loop. Once the device is mounted on the substrate, a person can rest a body portion, such as a heel or elbow, on a selected segment of the elastic cord, and begin to stretch a muscle or tendon associated with the body portion. Since the cord is somewhat yielding, triggering of the myotatic reflex is avoided, or at least delayed, thereby facilitating completion of a stretch. A user can also secure an audiovisual playback device adjacent the device, in order to inform the user during stretching.
