Systems and devices for rehabilitating shoulder injuries
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, machine, device, manufacture that can include, and/or a method for activities that can include and/or relate to, an elongate flexible strap and a plurality of elongate finger steps, each elongate finger step from the plurality of finger steps attached to the strap.
Striking apparatus and configurations thereof
An exercise assembly has a target. A plurality of compression blades is coupled to the target. A mounting plate is coupled to the plurality of compression blades. A mounting chassis is coupled to the mounting plate securing the exercise assembly to a building structure, wherein the mounting chassis moves in a forward and rearward direction relative to the building structure. A plurality of fasteners cis coupled to the mounting chassis securing the exercise assembly to the building structure.
Resistance-based exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes an elongated support element extending between first and second ends. The support element has a mounting member located at each of the first and second ends to engage with a door or wall surface and mount the support element thereto. A resistance-generating assembly includes a stationary member attached to the support element. A displaceable member is mountable to the support element and displaceable therealong relative to the stationary member. A resilient member is removably mountable between the stationary and displaceable members. The resilient member generates resistance upon being elastically deformed by displacement of the displaceable member relative to the stationary member. A pulley is mounted to the displaceable member and displaceable therewith, and another pulley is mounted to the support element. A hand-operable cable engages the pulleys to effect displacement of the displaceable member relative to the stationary member. A method is also disclosed.
Door Mount System for Exercise Devices
A door mount system for securing exercise devices to a door for use by a user. The door mount system includes a support member, a securing member, an attachment member, and an adjustment member. The adjustment member is adapted to move the securing member. A securing member is adapted to press on the door to removably connect the support member to the door. The attachment member is adapted to connect to an exercise device. The door mount system may further include guide members and slots. The guide members slidably move in the slots to prevent rotation of the securing member. The attachment member may include one or more eyelets adapted to connect to the exercise device.
ADJUSTABLE RESISTANCE BAND ANCHOR
An adjustable resistance band anchor may include a top mounting bracket that may be associated with the top of a support structure such as a door and a bottom mounting bracket that may be associated with the bottom or base of the support structure. The top and bottom mounting brackets may be coupled to a vertical support member and may be able to be moved along the vertical support member and secured at various locations. A sliding support assembly may be able to be moved along the vertical support member while the adjustable resistance band anchor is attached to the support structure. The sliding support assembly may be able to be selectively fixed at various locations along the vertical support member. The sliding support assembly may include an attachment feature that may allow an appropriate connector to be coupled to the sliding support assembly and one or more resistance bands.
Portable and variable exercise device
The apparatus provides an exercise device that is portable, versatile, and enables the user to match the resistance of the device with the normal physiologic length-tension relationship of skeletal muscle. The device adds resistance in the form of cartridges that are stackable to summate resistance and can connect to a variety of attachments for use with arms, legs, or trunk, i.e., handle, bar, loop, etc. Given the device's portability, it can be used freestyle or mounted to various surfaces.
Convertible fitness bag
A fitness apparatus is described which can be configured to operate both as a bag for carrying and storing exercise equipment and as a fixed anchor to which the exercise equipment can be connected. When operated as a bag, the apparatus can be filled with accessories and attachments that are utilized while performing exercises. These accessories can include, for example, Yoga Ropes, Pilates Springs, or Pulley Ropes. The fitness apparatus is converted to a fixed anchor by unzipping a zipper and turning the bag inside out, thereby exposing straps which are sewn onto the inside of the bag, and wrapping the straps around a door to provide fixed anchor points to which the accessories can be affixed. The straps which are wrapped around the door can be connected to one another on the opposite side of the door from the bag, thereby securing the apparatus to the door.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
