Disclosed is a light and portable fitness apparatus for performing Pilates-style exercises. The disclosed apparatus comprises a pair of wheel assemblies connected by a shaft which may be used to perform Pilates-style exercises by a variety of activities such as lifting or rolling the apparatus. The connection bar of the apparatus is offset from the center of the wheel assemblies and rotatable from the outer portion of the wheel assembly. The offset position allows the connection bar and wheel assemblies to act as a stable rolling platform, similarly to the platform of a Pilates reformer, but as a lightweight, portable apparatus.

STRIKING APPARATUS AND CONFIGURATIONS THEREOF
20180099199 · 2018-04-12 ·

The present disclosure relates to a striking apparatus and provides multiple configurations to that apparatus. More particularly, this disclosure describes the striking apparatus having a rotatable target that may be secured on a door end assembly. In one illustrative embodiment, the target may be coupled to a rotatable member having a plurality of compression loops there between. A support may lock the rotatable member, and thus the target, at an angle through a bolt pattern spaced at forty-five (45) degree to fifteen (15) degree increments. The support may be secured to the door end assembly through at least one clamp and at least one fastener.

LOAD DISTRIBUTING GRIP HANDLE
20180099175 · 2018-04-12 · ·

Grip handles for coupling to a resistance force provided by exercise equipment, resistance bands, or the user's own bodyweight. Each grip handle is defined by an increasing outer surface circumference along the length of the handle to form a generally conical shaped handhold attached to a rigid or flexible member. Where, the member is coupled at the apex of the grip handle. The generally cone shaped handle provides a comfortable and ergonomic surface to securely distribute the user's grip force during the exercise movements, thus significantly reducing the pressure points and grip requirements of current exercise handles. Where in one embodiment, the flexible member may be a resistance band or in another embodiment, it may be a rope or other type of flexible cable attached to a cable pull machine, suspension trainer anchor, or other type of exercise machine. Additionally, it is conceived that the invention could be a single flexible member with a cone handle at each end, or an individual handle with a cone grip on one end and a means of attaching the flexible member of the grip to an exercise machine.

Anchored resistance exercise device with sensor

An exercise system comprises an anchor and at least one extendible tether extending from a mooring on the anchor to a grip end. Each extendible tether is longitudinally movable between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. At least one sensor alignment arm is movably coupled to the anchor, and a sensor is associated with each sensor alignment arm and extendible tether. The sensor alignment arm carries a first sensor element and the extendible tether carries a second sensor element. Each extendible tether is longitudinally movable relative to its sensor alignment arm and angular movement of the extendible tether relative to the anchor moves the sensor alignment arm to maintain longitudinal alignment between the first sensor element and the second sensor element. The sensor detects movement of the second sensor element past the first sensor element as the extendible tether moves between the extended configuration and the retracted configuration.

Stretching device

A stretching device that enables a user to employ the mechanical advantage of a multi-pulley system while performing various, prolonged muscle stretches; the stretching device including a first anchor assembly, a second anchor assembly, and a motion transfer line. The first motion transfer line has a first anchor body and a first motion transfer pulley; the first anchor body being attached to the user and the first motion transfer pulley being coupled to the first anchor body. Similarly, the second motion transfer line has a second anchor body and a second motion transfer pulley; the second anchor body being attached to a stationary object and the second motion transfer pulley being coupled to the second anchor body. The motion transfer line is terminally attached to the first anchor body and is trained around both the first motion transfer pulley and the second motion transfer pulley.

Partial Harness for Pelvic Pivot Exercises
20180071574 · 2018-03-15 ·

A physical exercise device comprising a lower back support pad and a thigh support pad or a single support pad. These support pads are coupled to a buckle. The buckle may in turn be coupled to a suspension system anchored to a surface positioned at least substantially above the buckle. The buckle may provide a taut connection to the suspension system, so that the user may relax into the pads, which would then support the user's weight, permitting the user to concentrate on rotating or otherwise controlling the muscles adjacent to the pelvis, particularly the inner abdomen.
