A terminal device includes a communicator capable of communicating with a plurality of image forming apparatuses capable of switching an operation mode between an energy-saving mode and a normal mode, and a controller, wherein the controller, from the plurality of image forming apparatuses via the communicator, receives information of each image forming apparatus including the operation mode, based on the information of each image forming apparatus, displays states of the operation modes of the image forming apparatuses, and sends a request signal, which switches the operation mode, via the communicator to the image forming apparatus selected from among the displayed image forming apparatuses.

A communication system includes an information processing apparatus, a plurality of devices, and a communication management apparatus to communicate with the information processing apparatus and each of the plurality of devices. The information processing apparatus includes first circuitry to receive registerable device information transmitted by the communication management apparatus, the registrable device information indicating one or more registerable devices, among the plurality of devices, in which a particular application and particular settings are registrable, and transmit, to the communication management apparatus, registration setting information for registering the particular application and the particular settings, the registration setting information being set for a particular group of a plurality of groups based on the registerable device information. Each of the one or more devices includes second circuitry to receive the registration setting information from the communication management apparatus and register the particular application and the particular settings based on the registration setting information.

An information processing apparatus includes a user list providing unit configured to receive device identification information from a current device connected via a network and to send, to the current device, a user list including one or more user identifiers that are stored in a storage unit in association with the received device identification information; and a program list providing unit configured to receive a user identifier that is selected at the current device from the user identifiers in the user list and to send, to the current device, a program list including sets of program information stored in the storage unit in association with the received user identifier.

An apparatus that causes a device to print an image includes at least one processor, and a display screen. A state of the apparatus is changed from a first state to a second state when an image is settled as a print target by a user, the first state being a state in which the at least one processor does not cause the device to print the image even if the apparatus is put close to the device, and the second state being a state in which the at least one processor can cause the device to print the image if the apparatus is put close to the device. After the apparatus in the second state performs a short distance wireless communication with the device, the device prints the image.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

An information processing apparatus that allows unique setting of an image processing apparatus even when print is instructed from a cooperation application. The information processing apparatus is connected to the image processing apparatus, a tenant server that holds machine information including first setting information about the image processing apparatus, and a user terminal. In a case where an image processing apparatus and a terminal display screens in an associated manner, if the terminal receives a user operation in a state where an enlarged screen is displayed only on the terminal, and the terminal transmits information about the operation as it is to the image processing apparatus, processing not intended by the user may possibly be performed. Therefore, when the terminal receives a user operation in a state where an enlarged screen is displayed only on the terminal, the terminal does not transmit the operation information as it is to the image processing apparatus.
