The first control circuitry is configured to cause the apparatus to be in a standby state, a sleep state having smaller power consumption than the standby state, or a deep sleep state having smaller power consumption than the sleep state. The second control circuitry is configured to control an operation of the heater. The detector is configured to detect humidity of the inside of the apparatus. The first control circuitry causes the apparatus in the deep sleep state to periodically and temporarily return to the sleep state, and the second control circuitry operates the heater according to the humidity detected by the detector in the sleep state to which the apparatus has returned from the deep sleep state.
