ISOMETRIC NECK EXERCISE DEVICE
An isometric neck exercise device includes a headband and a plurality of wall blocks attached to the headband, configured to allow a wearer to place the headband on his or her head and lean at least one of the wall blocks against a wall for an isometric exercise.
Therapeutic stretching device for the jaw and surrounding musculature
A wedge-shaped therapeutic stretching device for the jaw generally having three sides (first, second and third), the three sides connected to each other to create the wedge shape. At the corner of two of the three sides is a stop that can rest on a user's lower teeth. On an opposing side of the stop is the second side of the stretching device, on which a plurality of steps is formed. A user's upper teeth can be placed on one of the steps. As the user's jaw flexibility increases, a user can move up in steps, thereby increasing distance between upper/lower jaw and allowing the jaw to stretch providing therapeutic relief.
NECK STRENGTHENING DEVICE
Devices and methods are described to aid in neck strengthening. Embodiments of devices described have a lever arm extending outward from the user's chin area, the lever arm having attachment points so that an external load force can be applied such that the user, when counteracting the load force will pull their head backwards at the same time as moving their chin downwards which will, in turn strengthen the neck. The action will strengthen the neck in such a way as to reduce forward head posture and the negative effects of the same.
Face tools
Tool for tonifying face and neck muscles, extending in a longitudinal direction (X-X) corresponding to the lengthwise dimension of the tool, transverse dimension (Y-Y) corresponding to a widthwise dimension of the tool and vertical direction (Z-Z) corresponding to the thickness of the tool, comprising: a container (10;110) comprising several single housings (11;111); a series of weights (20;120), each singly contained inside a respective housing of the container (10;110).
CERVICAL STRENGTHENING AND REHABILITATION SYSTEM
A cervical strengthening and rehabilitation system includes a helmet having a plurality of attachment anchors distributed at different locations thereon, a frame defining an interior volume configured to receive the helmet in operation, and one or more resistance bands. Each of the one or more resistance bands has a first end selectively connectable to one of the plurality of attachment anchors on the helmet and an opposing second end selectively connectable to the frame.
DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE HEAD OF A PERSON AND COMBINATION OF A TRAINING APPARATUS AND A DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE HEAD OF A PERSON
A device for supporting the head of a person, having at least two lips that are placed around a first main axis and around a second main axis oriented perpendicular to the first main axis and that form, together with at least one securing system, a closed curve with a hollow space formed therein for supporting the person's head. The securing system can be designed, by matching a circumference of the curve, to form a homogeneously acting positive engagement or frictional engagement between the lips and the person's head. Also, a combination of a training apparatus and a device for supporting the head of a person is provided.
Infinitely adjustable training mask with an air filter and a drinking device
An infinitely adjustable training mask for simulating the increased breathing resistance level at higher altitudes including an air-impermeable mask body covering the nose and mouth of the wearer, an infinitely adjustable inhalation resistance assembly extended through the mask body, a replaceable particulate air filter to provide respiratory protection when the wearer inhales, and a drinking device for hydration and consumption of foods. The inhalation resistance assembly contains a stationary aperture component and a rotating dial aperture component for adjusting the sizes of the overlapping inhalation adjustment apertures to achieve the desired breathing resistance level. Upon exhalation of the wearer, the exhaled air is discharged through a flexible one-way check valve controlled exhalation channel. A replaceable particulate air filter which can be easily placed inside or removed from the internal cavity of the infinitely adjustable inhalation resistance assembly helps to reduce inhalation exposures to airborne particles during outdoor training sessions. The drinking device enables the wearer to conveniently hydrate or consume foods without taking the mask off, thus allowing maximum amount of wear time to improve training efficiency. A strap is connected to the mask body to be positioned about the head of a wearer to securely maintain the mask during training.
Portable oral positive expiratory pressure-generating devices with variable expiratory airflow resistances
A positive expiratory pressure-generating device for reducing breathlessness in a subject with one or more pulmonary disorders is disclosed. The device is rigid and hollow and can be held in the mouth of the subject. The device has at least one air chamber, at least one opening in the portion of the device that is held in the mouth and at least one additional airflow orifice. The device is configured to increase expiratory resistance and can be supported by the mouth of the subject without the need for additional support by hands, another device or other means.
Material for Enhancing the Effects of Exercise
A compressible material is provided for use with athletic equipment and apparel for enhancing the effects of physical exercise for a person. The material can include one or more compression members that extend from shoes, insoles for shoes, exercise gloves, wraps for exercise equipment, exercise mat or floor covering, headbands, socks, exercise garments, free weights and sports helmets. The compression members can be made of one or more of rubber, thermoplastic rubber, foam rubber, polyurethane rubber, silicone rubber, thermoplastic resin and thermoplastic elastomer. Positioning the compressible material such that it is between the user and any surface for example when exercising, requires the person to maintain balance while performing the exercise by using other muscles that would not ordinarily be used during the exercise, and provides proprioceptive feedback to the person's central nervous system.
Adjustable resistance band and system including same
A resistance band is provided that includes a flexible band having a first side and a second side, a first handle located at the first side of the flexible band, a second handle located at the second side of the flexible band, and a base member located between the first handle and the second handle, the flexible band passing through the base member, the base member including at least one fastener configured to connect the base member to another exercise device. An exercise system is also provided that includes the resistance band and the exercise device having at least one fastener configured to cooperate with the at least one fastener of the resistance band.
