Computer-readable medium, information processing device, and method for rearranging image data
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions executable by a processor of an information processing device that includes a user interface and a display. The instructions are configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to accept, via the user interface, an operation to specify a rearrangement condition for a plurality of pieces of image data to be obtained, obtain image data of a single sheet, determine an arrangement order for arranging first image data and second image data in accordance with the rearrangement condition specified by the accepted operation, the first image data being image data of one or more sheets obtained earlier than the second image data, the second image data being the image data of the single sheet, and display, on the display, images contained in the first image data and the second image data, to be arranged in the determined arrangement order.
OPTIMIZED PRINTING DEFECT COMPENSATION USING AUTOMATIC JOB IMAGE REPOSITIONING
A processor identifies print defect locations where printing defects occur and a assigns different sensitivity values to different zones of a job image being prepared for printing by a printing engine. The processor changes the orientation of the job image to a revised orientation, relative to print media, to avoid locating one or more high-sensitivity zones of the job image in the print defect locations. The high-sensitivity zones are ones of the zones having a sensitivity value above a threshold sensitivity value. The printing engine prints the job image on the print media at the revised orientation.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
This disclosure provides an image processing apparatus that is connected to a printing apparatus, sequentially receives a plurality of recording media on which printing was performed by the printing apparatus, and inspects a quality of images formed on the recording media, wherein the image processing apparatus receives a reference image, acquires a plurality of scanned images by sequentially scanning the recording media output from the printing apparatus and having the images to be inspected recorded thereon, receives phase information of an image bearing member of the printing apparatus, detects, for each of the scanned images, a defect on the scanned image by comparing a pixel value of the reference image and a pixel value of the scanned image, and determines whether a defect has reproducibility based on positions of defects on the recording media calculated from the phase information.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
While an operation of changing a non-position attribute value for a first object (an operation-target object) is being performed, an information processing method of the present disclosure extracts a non-position attribute value for a second object different from the first object and of the same attribute as the non-position attribute value being changed. Then, it is determined whether the current value of the non-position attribute value being changed is a value within a range predefined based on the non-position attribute value for the second object. In a case where the non-position attribute value for the first object is to be changed in accordance with a change in operation position corresponding to operation information, the current value is changed to the non-position attribute value for the second object if determined to be a value within the range predefined based on the non-position attribute value for the second object.
READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An object of the present disclosure is to improve convenience for a user to lay out image data by displaying a trimming region when necessary. One embodiment of the present invention is a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program which causes a computer to function as a display control unit capable of displaying a screen having a first region in which to place an object and a second region surrounding the first region, and configured to switch to displaying or to hiding the second region in the screen according to a setting indicating whether to display or hide the second region, wherein even in a case where the setting indicates hiding the second region, the display control unit displays the second region based on a position of the object in the first region.
Image processing apparatus, control method, and product for determining defect reproducibility based on defect positions on recording media calculated from phase information
APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure helps prevent scan image data obtained by bulk reading of a plurality of documents from being divided at a position unintended by a user. An apparatus according to the present disclosure can display, on a screen, a list of a plurality of page images obtained by reading a plurality of documents in bulk, display, on the screen where the list of the plurality of page images is displayed, one or more page images similar to a page image specified by a user as one or more sectioning position candidates in a manner discriminable from other page images of the plurality of page images, and correct the one or more sectioning position candidates based on a correction instruction from the user.
Image reading device and image reading method
There are provided a line sensor (110) including two first sensor pixel rows (111a, 111b) and a second sensor pixel row (112a); an image obtaining unit (140) to obtain, from electrical signals obtained by scanning an original in a sub-scanning direction with the two first sensor pixel rows (111a, 111b), two first read image data items, and obtain, from electrical signals obtained by scanning the original in the sub-scanning direction with the second sensor pixel row (112a), a second read image data item; and an image processor (150) to incorporate one or more pixel data items of one or more pixels included in an interval between the two first sensor pixel rows (111a, 111b) out of the second read image data item into the two first read image data items, thereby generating a line image data item in which the one or more pixels in the interval are not vacant.
COPYING APPARATUS AND METHOD CAPABLE OF CALIBRATING COPY POSITION
A copying apparatus capable of calibrating a copy position comprises a scanning module scanning an original to obtain an original image; and a processing module being electrically connected to the scanning module and recognizing whether the original image contains an original mark corresponding to a template mark. If the original image contains the original mark, then the processing module generates print data for being printed out according to the original image and a position parameter of the template mark. A copying method capable of calibrating the copy position is also provided. Thus, the copy position can be calibrated according to the mark of the original to prevent the copy result from having a positional offset. Consequently, no positional offset occurs even if the original is copied multiple times based on the previous generation of original.
Manufacturing of decorative workpieces by inkjet
A method for manufacturing decorative workpieces includes the step of nesting a set of decorative patterns digitally printed on a decoration layer to reduce the waste of decoration layer. To perform a corresponding relief for the nested decorative patterns on a nested decorative workpiece, the relief provided by a digital relief apparatus is in a correct match with the nested decorative workpiece. If the printing zone of the digital printer has a failure zone, the nesting method prevents arranging of the decorative patterns in this failure zone.
