LOCALLY BROADCASTED TOKEN TO CAUSE IMAGE MASKING OF USER LIKENESS
There are provided systems and methods for a locally broadcasted token to cause image masking of user likeness. A first user may establish a masking request for images taken by other users to conceal the first user's image or likeness in those images. The masking request may correspond to a token, such as a data package, that includes a request to mask the first user in the images, an image of the first user used to perform facial recognition to identify the user in the images, and a masking image to mask the user in the images. Additionally, the token may include an identifier used to contact the first user or a payment option to pay the first user to unmask the first user in the images. The token may be broadcast over an area around the first user to mask the first user in images on receiving devices.
Image forming apparatus that record respective images on front and back sides of recording paper sheet
Even from a plurality of small documents, their front-side and back-side images to be formed on a recording paper sheet, with alignment and coincidence of the front-side and back-side images of each document between the front and back sides of the recording paper sheet. In an image forming apparatus, an image processing section detects a front-side image of an original document from a scan area read in a first scan by an image reading section, detects a back-side image of the original document from a scan area read in a second scan, and moves or rotates the front-side image and the back-side image of the original document in terms of a whole image of the scan area so that the front-side image and the back-side image of the original document are brought into alignment and coincidence between a front side and a back side of a recording paper sheet.
Printing apparatus that restrains positional deviation and a printing method using the same
An image shifter creates plural pairs of shift image data. A shading corrector and a halftone dot processor create halftone shift image data from shift images. Further, a difference image creator creates halftone common image data which is a common part of a pair of halftone shift image data, and creates halftone positive difference image data and halftone negative difference image data each of which is a difference between the halftone common image data and one of a pair of halftone shift image data. A composite image creator synthesizes the halftone common image data corresponding to an amount of positional deviation, and the halftone positive difference image data or halftone negative difference image data. A controller executes printing on web paper. Since the image data is only synthesized, processing load can be lightened even if printing is performed to restrain positional deviations.

An image processing apparatus includes an input section for inputting image data, and an image processing section for discriminating a marking area out of image data and generating image data of fill-in-blank questions with the marking area converted to a blank answer field. For generation of the image data of fill-in-blank questions, the image processing section recognizes a character count of characters present in the marking area, determines, as an answer-field character count, a character count resulting from adding a margin number to the character count of the marking area, and changes a size of the answer field to a size adapted to the answer-field character count.

The image processing method includes: one or more protected areas are determined in an original picture to be processed, image data of the one or more protected areas are protected by adding access rights, one or more independent sub-image data corresponding to the one or more protected areas are obtained, and then the one or more protected areas in the original picture are shielded to obtain main image data, the images in the protected areas being invisible in the shielded original picture; and the one or more obtained independent sub-image data and the obtained main image data are associatively stored.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating, based on a portrait image, a foreground image mask to indicate foreground pixels of the portrait image; identifying a percentage of white or near white pixels in the foreground by using the foreground image mask and pixel colors in the portrait image; determining whether the percentage of white or near white pixels in the foreground is larger than a predefined threshold; in response to determining, triggering identification of edge pixels in a background of the portrait image; adjusting white background pixels to add shadows by darkening the white background pixels; and adjusting the white or near white pixels in the foreground by darkening the white or near white pixels.

An image processing apparatus includes circuitry that estimates a first geometric transformation parameter for aligning first output image data with the original image data, the first output image data being acquired by reading a first output result, and a second geometric transformation parameter for aligning second output image data with the original image data, the second output image data being acquired by reading a second output result; associates, based on the first and the second geometric transformation parameters, combinations of color components of the first and the second output image data, corresponding to pixels of the original image data, to generate pixel value association data; determines, based on the pixel value association data, a mapping for estimating color drift between the first output image data and the second output image data from the original image data; and subjects the original image data to color conversion based on the mapping.
