Multifunctional therapeutic workout enhancement brace
A multifunctional therapeutic workout enhancement brace has a joint-receiving sling, a pair of adjustable cuffs, and a tension-diverting band. The joint-receiving sling is a flexible piece of material that is molded to conform to the shape of the user's joint. The pair of adjustable cuffs are mounted along opposite edges of the joint-receiving sling. Thus, enabling the user to attach the adjustable cuffs to opposite sides of the user's joint. The tension-diverting band is a strip of material that is mounted in between the adjustable cuffs and the joint-receiving sling. Thus positioned, the tension-diverting band transfers forces that are directed toward the user's joint out of the joint-receiving sling and into the adjustable cuffs. Further, the joint-receiving sling, the pair of adjustable cuffs, and the tension-diverting band work in concert to reduce the torque applied to the user's joint during exercise.
TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.
UPPER AND LOWER LIMB WALKING REHABILITATION DEVICE
An upper and lower limbs walking rehabilitation device of the present invention includes a foot stepping part, and comprises: a lower frame part; a lower limb link unit provided between the foot stepping part and the lower frame part and providing a walking trajectory to the foot stepping part; an upper frame part detachably provided at the upper end of the lower frame part by means of a detachment part; an upper limb link unit provided at the upper frame part and implementing the movement of upper limbs; and an upper linking part for linking the upper limb link unit and the lower limb link unit.
Appropriate pressure determination device, appropriate pressure determination system, and method for determining appropriate pressure
A method of determining a more suitable appropriate pressure for use in muscle strength enhancement methods involving the restriction of blood flow. The pressure of air in a gas bladder of a compression band is temporarily increased to a pressure higher than a presumed appropriate pressure and then gradually reduced. During this process, a pulse wave amplitude is measured, and a maximum pulse wave pressure, which is the pressure of the air in the gas bladder at a time when the pulse wave amplitude that is temporarily increased and then reduced has its maximum value is specified by a maximum pulse wave pressure specifying unit 12E. The unit 12E sends maximum pulse wave pressure data representing a maximum pulse wave pressure to an appropriate pressure calculating unit 12F. The unit 12F multiplies the maximum pulse wave pressure by a coefficient to obtain an appropriate pressure.
PROGRAMMABLE RANGE OF MOTION SYSTEM
A programmable range of motion system has a frame, a range of motion device, a controller, a computer and sensors. The frame has a seat to support a rehab patient. The range of motion device is attached to the frame. The actuator, servo or alternate mechanism selectively rotates the range of motion device through a range of motion for a rehab patient's limb. The controller controls the actuator, servo or alternate mechanism. The computer is connected electronically to the controller. The computer has a software, program or application including a plurality of programmable range of motion movements for exercising the limb. The sensor detects movements of the actuator, servo or alternate mechanism and records data back to the computer. The term actuator as used hereafter includes servo or alternate articulating mechanism.
SUPPORT SHIRT WITH SLEEVE REINFORCEMENT REGIONS
A support shirt comprising a shirt body and a pair of shirt body sleeves positioned adjacent to an upper shirt body is provided. The sleeves are attached to the shirt body at sleeve body holes, with each of the sleeves including sleeve reinforcement regions extending at least a portion of the distance from the sleeve holes to an outer edge of the sleeves. The sleeve reinforcement regions extend substantially along a centerline extending longitudinally across the sleeves and the upper sleeve body to stabilize and provide support to the shoulders of a wearer during an upward lifting motion.
Joint stabilizing orthopedic device
An orthopedic device configured to provide support and/or resistance to a joint. The orthopedic device is adjustable and lightweight and configured to permit a substantial full range of motion of the joint. The orthopedic device can comprise a torso portion, an upper arm portion, and a support system, wherein at least the support system is adapted to mimic part of the muscular system structure and function of the muscles that are used during the range of motion of the joint.
WEBBING LOOP WITH SLEEVE FOR EXERCISES
A cable attachment that accommodates fundamental movement patterns of a user. The cable attachment includes a structural connector with a mounting aperture, a sleeve forming a first aperture at one end and a second aperture at an opposite second end and a webbing loop. The webbing loop having a webbing fabric with opposing first and second surfaces extending from a sewn end to a sleeve end. The webbing fabric is fixed to itself proximate the aperture for a sewn length. At the opposite end of the webbing fabric it is fixed to the second aperture of the sleeve. The sleeve surrounds the webbing fabric and slides along the webbing fabric to allow adjustment of the length of the webbing fabric to accommodate the fundamental movement patterns of the user.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A THIN STRIP MADE OF SOFT MAGNETIC ALLOY AND STRIP OBTAINED
Method for manufacturing a thin strip in a soft magnetic alloy and strip obtained A method for manufacturing a strip in a soft magnetic alloy capable of being cut out mechanically, the chemical composition of which comprises by weight:
TABLE-US-00001 18% Co 55% 0% V + W 3% 0% Cr 3% 0% Si 3% 0% Nb 0.5% 0% B 0.05% 0% C 0.1% 0% Zr + Ta 0.5% 0% Ni 5% 0% Mn 2%
The remainder being iron and impurities resulting from the elaboration, according to which a strip obtained by hot rolling is cold-rolled in order to obtain a cold-rolled strip with a thickness of less than 0.6 mm.
After cold rolling, a continuous annealing treatment is carried out by passing into a continuous oven, at a temperature comprised between the order/disorder transition temperature of the alloy and the onset temperature of ferritic/austenitic transformation of the alloy, followed by rapid cooling down to a temperature below 200 C. Strip obtained.
