Garment
Exemplary embodiments contained herein include garments having biomechanical components including neurobands, posture mounts, expansion panels, and combinations thereof.
Wearable Tension Apparatus
Exemplary embodiments contained herein include garments having biomechanical components including neurobands, posture mounts, expansion panels, and combinations thereof.
Exercise Device
An exercise apparatus includes a linear arm portion having an elongate arm member with proximal and distal ends and an elongate support member having proximal and distal ends. The arm member can be slidably mounted to the support member by a sliding joint positioned at the distal end of the support member. The arm member can be movable along a first axis between retracted and extended positions. The sliding joint can include first and second bearing assemblies which are spaced apart a sufficient distance from each other for constraining portions of the arm member within the sliding joint. The proximal end of the arm member that overlaps with the support member outside of the sliding joint when in retracted positions can be capable of some unconstrained lateral movement relative to the first axis. A linear arm brake assembly can be coupled to the arm member for resisting linear motion of the arm member. A torso portion can be included to which the linear arm portion is rotatably mounted about a second axis by rotary shoulder joint. The linear arm portion can be configured, and the rotary shoulder joint can be positioned along the length of the support member at a location that substantially balances the linear arm portion about the rotary shoulder joint at least when the arm member is in the retracted position.
PROTECTIVE ROWING DEVICE
A protective rowing device for compression of the abdomen is provided that comprises a brace and U-shaped support member that may connect to a rowing machine seat and rail.
SHOULDER MOTION EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A shoulder motion exercise device, kit, and method of use having a retainer, a plurality of connectors, an extender, and a slider. The device aids in the stretching and exercise of at least a shoulder and a portion of the torso.
Upper limb training system and control method thereof
An upper limb training system adapted to an upper limb of a user includes a main body and a control unit. The main body includes a training unit and a plurality of motors. The training unit is connected to the upper limb. The plurality of motors are coupled to the training unit. The control unit is electrically connected to the training unit and the plurality of motors and calculates a plurality of torque intervals respectively corresponding to the plurality of motors according to torques generated by each of the plurality of motors. Besides, a control method adapted to the upper limb training system is also provided.
Exercise accessories and system
An exercise accessory may be a component of a leg lift exercise system assembly. The exercise accessory may be useful for a user to hold themselves up by the arms to perform leg lifts, among other exercises. The accessory has an angular adjuster to allow a user to adjust the positioning of his or her forearms during the exercise. The angular adjuster has a cage which can attach to and suspend from an overhead bar, and an apertured base having radial tines. An indexer may be able to rotatably index to and rest within the radial tines. Rotating the indexer when tension is not applied to the system allows the user to adjust angular positioning. From the indexer and through the aperture an arm support is suspended.
Methods of exercising human arms
Disclosed herein are methods of exercising human arms, including a method of exercising human arms that may include: 1) providing an arm exercise assembly, comprising: a) a frame; b) a wheel coupled to the frame; c) two locks disposed on the wheel; and d) a handle coupled to the wheel; 2) coupling the two locks to the wheel; and 3) abutting the handle against one or both of the two locks.
Running emulator
A running emulator for increasing an athlete's strength in the movement of specific muscles used for running includes: a lower body frame; a pair of leg assemblies movably mounted on the lower body frame and having a leg extension carrier, a leg extension member slidably mounted through the leg extension carrier, a foot cradle mounted to the leg extension member; and two leg resistance members located on an outside of the lower body frame and connected to each of the pair of leg assemblies for resisting pivoting of the leg extension carrier relative to the lower body frame. During use by an athlete, the leg assemblies pivot and the leg extension member reciprocates through the leg extension carrier such that a path travelled by the athlete's foot on the foot cradle emulates motion of a sprinter.
Swimming Stroke Alignment Tool
A training aid to correct arm position during the pulling phase of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, or crawl also referred to as freestyle, when swimming. The disclosed tool provides physical pressure to correct a common swimming error. Said tool prevents medial rotation of the glenohumeral joint of the shoulder rotator cuff during the catch and pull portion of swimming.
