A removable stretchable cover for exercise equipment has a first wall, a second wall, two side walls and two end walls arranged to form an interior cavity and an opening through which the exercise equipment is appointed to traverse. The opening is formed as a stretchable slit opening adapted to expand to engulf the exercise equipment, and contract in a closed configuration when the exercise equipment is housed within the interior cavity to substantially enclose the equipment within the cover. At least one anti-slip surface is integrated within at least one of the first wall, second wall, two side walls or two end walls. The cover is composed of a thin, stretchy, soft material so that it can be significantly stretched and contracted to snuggly fit over the exercise equipment. Examples of exercise equipment for which the cover is especially well suited include yoga blocks, foam rollers, exercise balls and arm handles of exercise machines.

A yoga exercise apparatus that is operable to reduce pressure on the crown of the head of the user as well as the wrist and hands during certain yoga body positions. The present invention includes a first member, second member and third member that are identically constructed with the first member having a larger diameter than the equal diameter of the second member and third member. The first member, second member and third member are annular in shape each having a central portion and an integrally formed outer ring. The central portion has an upper surface that is recessed within the outer ring. The bottom of the central portion includes a plurality of walls forming pockets that will function to releasably secure the present invention to a floor. The second member and third member are placed on opposing sides of the first member during use of the present invention.

EXERCISE MAT WITH A CONTINUOUS ONE-PIECE ANTI-SLIP STRIP
20170304672 · 2017-10-26 ·

An exercise mat includes a fabric layer defining opposing first surface and second surface, an anti-slip strip of a predetermined width and in a predetermined pattern covered over a part of the first surface of the fabric layer so that the first surface of the fabric layer defines one or multiple exposed portions beyond the anti-slip strip, and an elastic cushion layer covered over the second surface of the fabric layer. The anti-slip strip is a continuous one-piece member defining two opposite lateral portions and a middle portion at different elevations. The fabric layer defines a plurality of local areas in the first surface. At least one exposed portion and a part of the anti-slip strip exist in each local area within a surface area approximately equal to the surface area of the palm of an adult.

A human-powered generator includes a frame and a pedal crankset and crankset sprocket rotatably mounted on the frame, a flywheel rotatably mounted on the frame including a flywheel-crankset sprocket a flywheel-countershaft sprocket, a countershaft rotatably mounted on the frame including a countershaft-flywheel sprocket and a countershaft-alternator sprocket, and an alternator including an alternator drive shaft and an alternator sprocket. The human-powered generator also includes a crankset-flywheel drive chain, a flywheel-countershaft drive chain, and a countershaft-alternator drive chain. A pedaling cadence at the pedal crankset of between approximately 60 RPM and approximately 100 RPM achieves an alternator drive shaft RPM of between approximately 2,000 RPM and approximately 5,000 RPM.

Anti-slip coverings for surfaces
09796152 · 2017-10-24 ·

Anti-slip coverings for underlying surfaces are shown and described. The anti-slip coverings include a layer made of a semi-flexible material that is configured to receive contact from an object and has slits at least partially extended through the layer. The layer includes a cut-out pattern comprised of a plurality of cut outs cooperatively aligned with the slits to enable the slits to at least partially open when one or more of a downward force and a horizontal force is applied by the object onto the anti-slip covering. In some examples, the anti-slip covering includes a second layer disposed between the first layer and the underlying surface to allow compression of the first layer when a downward force is applied on the anti-slip covering.

EXERCISE MAT AND METHODS FOR MAKING AN EXERCISE MAT

Examples of an exercise mat and methods for making same are disclosed. The exercise mat comprises a top layer, at least two textured gripping zones formed on an upper surface of the top layer and a bottom layer joined to the top layer. A second textured gripping zone of the at least two textured gripping zones may be formed closer to one or more mat edges of the exercise mat, and has a friction level that is greater than a friction level of a first textured gripping zone of the at least two textured gripping zones, when a body is in sliding contact with the at least two textured gripping zones of the upper surface of the top layer.
