Image display apparatus and method
A technology capable of suitably correcting a geometric distortion caused by a shape of a curved surface of a screen or the like and obtaining a suitable image easily viewable for a user is provided. A projector is an image display apparatus configured to project an image onto a screen and includes a projection lens arranged at a first position and a camera arranged at a second position. When the screen has a curved surface, a camera image obtained by capturing a first image projected on the screen by the camera is acquired, and a geometric transformation for correcting a geometric distortion caused by the curved surface seen from a first virtual viewpoint position (virtual viewpoint) is performed for an image to be displayed based on information of the camera image, the first position, and the second position, and a post-transformation image is projected onto the screen.
SHEET-FORM TRANSPARENT MOLDING, TRANSPARENT SCREEN COMPRISING SAME, AND IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
Provided is a sheet-form transparent molding for use for a transparent screen, satisfying both visibilities of a projected light and a transmitted light by anisotropically scattering and reflecting the projected light emitted from a light source. A sheet-form transparent molding according to the present invention comprises a transparent light scattering layer comprising a resin and bright flake-form microparticles.
Image processing device, image processing method, program and computer-readable storage medium
Coordination of two actual objects can be checked even if it is difficult to match the objects each other at the same place. An image processing device acquires a projection image that includes an image of a first object projected on a projection surface, and identifies an area, in the projection image projected by projecting means, blocked by a second object in front of the projection surface. The image processing device has projection control means for controlling the projecting means so that a size of the image of the first object projected on the projection surface is life-size, and the projecting means projects the projection image in which a color of the area identified by the object identifying means is replaced by a predetermined color.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There is provided an information processing apparatus including an emission unit for emitting a projection image onto a subject, which is to be photographed, so as to allow the subject to perform a predetermined operation, a recognizing unit for recognizing operation performed by the subject, and an execution unit for executing a predetermined processing according to the operation of the subject that is recognized by the recognizing unit.
PROJECTION APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A projection apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The projection apparatus includes a processor, a sensor, and a projection module. When a command corresponding to a standby mode is received, the processor sets the projection apparatus to a first sub-standby mode. The sensor is enabled to sense whether there is a living object located in a sensing area outside the projection apparatus. The standby mode is maintained as the first sub-standby mode in response to sensing that the living object is not in the sensing area. The standby mode is set to be switched to a second sub-standby mode in response to sensing that the living object is in the sensing area. A maximum power consumption of the first sub-standby mode is less than a maximum power consumption of the second sub-standby mode. In the first and second sub-standby modes, the projection module is not enabled.
Method and Apparatus for Realizing Trapezoidal Distortion Correction of Projection Plane
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for correcting trapezoidal distortion of a projection plane. The method includes: measuring a trend of change in a distance to a projection plane by using a rotatable range finder, and determining a correction included angle according to the trend of change; and correcting trapezoidal distortion according to the determined correction included angle.
Display panel and display apparatus having the same
A display panel includes an upper plate including a first substrate, a first electrode layer formed on an inner surface of the first substrate, and an absorptive polarizing film formed on an outer surface of the first substrate and having a first polarization axis, a lower plate including a second substrate, a second electrode layer formed on an inner surface of the second substrate, and a reflective polarizing film formed on an outer surface of the second substrate and having a second polarization axis perpendicular or parallel to the first polarization axis, an LC layer filled between the upper plate and the lower plate, and an LC driving power supply connected between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer and configured to selectively provide an LC driving voltage to the LC layer changing a polarization direction of incident light in the LC layer.
