PROGRAM RECORDING METHOD AND TERMINAL
Disclosed are a program recording method and terminal. The method includes: upon receiving a reservation request for a new recording task, determining whether there is an overlapping third recording time period between a first recording time period for a previously reserved recording task in a target CAM card and a second recording time period for a new recording task; if the overlapping third recording time period exists, determining whether a number of data streams supported by the target CAM card is more than that of reserved recording tasks in the target CAM card within the third recording time period; if yes, making a reservation for the new recording task using the target CAM card.
Content-triggered highlight recording
Systems and methods for selectively recording and bookmarking a portion of broadcast media content include receiving a video stream containing the broadcast media content, determining a video segment of the video stream to be output to a display device, and performing OCR on characters present within the video segment. The systems and methods may further include detecting a trigger event in the OCR of the video segment and creating a digital bookmark corresponding to the detected trigger event. The systems and methods may include generating a recording of a portion of the broadcast media content, whereby the recording begins prior to the trigger event and concludes after the trigger event, and storing the digital bookmark associated with the generated recording.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING SELECTIVE BACKTRACKING DATA RECORDING
Systems and methods can support a data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus can include a data processor that is associated with a data capturing device on a stationary object and/or a movable object. The data processor can receive data in a data flow from one or more data sources, wherein the data flow is configured based on a time sequence. Then, the data processor can receive a control signal, which is associated with a first timestamp, wherein the first timestamp indicates a first time. Furthermore, the data processor can determine a first data segment by applying the first timestamp on the data flow, wherein the first data segment is associated with a time period in the time sequence that includes the first time.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR GENERATING PERSONALIZED PLAYLIST OF HIGHLIGHTS OF RECORDED MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
Disclosed herein is a system and method for generating personalized playlist of highlights of plurality of recorded multimedia content. One or more recorded multimedia content is selected based on relative scores assigned to each of the plurality of recorded multimedia content based on predetermined configurable rules and profile information of the user. Highlights of each of the selected multimedia content are created based on predetermined configurable rules. Finally, each highlight is ordered based on the user profile for generating a personalized playlist of the highlights. The disclosed method automatically generates a highlight of the selected plurality of recorded multimedia content, thereby assisting the users in viewing the appropriate multimedia content as per their interests and convenience.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR EDITING MOVIES IN DISTRIBUTED SCALABLE MEDIA ENVIRONMENT
A movie editor converts a received movie into a proxy format, and creates a texture strip representing the frames of the movie. An editor can use the texture strip to edit the movie, rather than editing the movie directly. Deep tags and/or special effects can be defined for the texture strip using a graphical interface. The graphical interface enables movies to be combined into a playback product according to a control structure graphically presented in the graphical interface.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING A CUSTOM TRACK
A method and system for creating and editing video and/or audio tracks is described. The method includes providing at least one artist, venue, and track available for selection and providing at least one clip associated with the at least one artist, venue, and track. The method also includes allowing a user to create a custom track from the at least one clip. The system includes a plurality of video cameras for recording a live performance at a plurality of positions. The system also includes at least one server for storing a plurality of video clips created from the plurality of video cameras and an application stored on the at least one server for allowing a user to access the plurality of video clips via the Internet.
Hyper-lapse video through time-lapse and stabilization
Various technologies described herein pertain to generation of an output hyper-lapse video from an input video. A smoothed camera path can be computed based upon the input video. Further, output camera poses can be selected from the smoothed camera path for output frames of the output hyper-lapse video. One or more selected input frames from the input video can be chosen for an output frame. The selected input frames can be chosen based at least in part upon an output camera pose for the output frame. Moreover, the selected input frames can be combined to render the output frame. Choosing selected input frames from the input video and combining the selected input frames can be performed for each of the output frames of the output hyper-lapse video.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DISTRIBUTED VIDEO EDITING
A network editor comprises a central location with stored videos such as movies that can be edited by editors at remote locations. An editor receives a representation of a video and specifies edits relative to the representation, enabling the editor to use a device lacking sufficient processing capability to edit the video directly, and also reducing the volume of information transmitted between the central location and the remote editor. The central location is able to provide the edited movie in a format suitable to the display capabilities of the viewing device of the viewer requesting the edited video.
Creation of Media Clips from Media Broadcasts
According to some implementations of the present disclosure, computer-implemented methods and systems for generating media clips are disclosed. According to some implementations, the method includes receiving an original media stream, transcoding the original media stream into a transcoded media stream, and streaming the transcoded media stream to a user device. The method further includes creating a plurality of media segments that include content of the original media stream and receiving a request to create a media clip from the original media stream from a user device. The request indicates a clip start time and a clip end time defined with respect to the transcoded media stream. The method further includes identifying, from the plurality of media segments, one or more identified media segments corresponding to the clip start time and the clip end time and creating the media clip based on content included in the identified media segments.
System and methods for time lapse video acquisition and compression
Techniques and devices for acquiring and compressing timelapse video are described. The techniques are adaptive, in that the acquisition frame rate is adapted and captured images are periodically deleted during filming. To implement the method, a user need not know ahead of time how long the source video will be acquired. Regardless of the acquisition time, the resulting video is automatically edited to provide a timelapse clip of a predefined length or of a length within a predefined range.
