Systems, methods, and devices for measuring force applied to a machine, where an exercise machine comprises a frame; a motor assembly; a mounting plate, wherein the mounting plate is attached to the motor assembly; a force transducer. The force transducer is attached to the mounting plate and the frame and is the only point of contact between the frame and the motor assembly. The force transducer is configured to measure force applied to the motor assembly.

Systems and methods for an exercise apparatus are provided and include a flexible elongated member, a binding apparatus, and a motor assembly. The binding apparatus is attached to the flexible elongated member and has a clamping mechanism configured to secure a shoe of a user of the exercise apparatus to the flexible elongated member. The motor assembly is disposed between the shoe and the flexible elongated member and is configured to cause the flexible elongated member to oscillate.

Embodiments of a strength training apparatus and related methods are provided. In one embodiment, a strength training apparatus may include a tower, a first arm and a second arm each pivotally coupled with the tower and each being configured to be selectively positionable independent of each other at multiple angles relative to each other, a first pulley coupled to an end of the first arm, a first cable extending through the first arm and the first pulley, a second pulley coupled to an end of the second arm, a second cable extending through the second arm and the second pulley, a magnetic mechanism coupled to the first cable and the second cable and configured to provide multiple levels of resistance to a user pulling on the first cable and/or the second cable, and a control panel located on the tower.

A wearable exercise apparatus may include one or more of: a torso support including an abdominal frame, a chest frame, a shoulder frame, a back frame, an arm frame, a first guide, a wrist frame, a second guide, a glove, a dial rotatably connected to the chest frame, a string connected to the dial, at least partially wound around the dial, and passing through an inner space of each of the torso support and the first guide, and an elastic band having one end connected to the string and the other end connected to the wrist frame or the glove, passing through an inner space of each of the arm frame and the second guide, and extending or contracting by a tension of the string.

In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.

An endless rope trainer that includes an upright frame, a drive roller supported a distance above ground on the frame, an endless rope entrained around the drive roller, and a means of applying resistance to rotation of the drive roller. A pair of guide rollers are provided proximate the drive roller. The guide rollers pivot together as a unit about the axis of the drive roller independently of the drive roller for maintaining a constant wrap angle of contact of the endless rope on the drive roller regardless of pull angle on the endless rope.

An exercise assist apparatus may include a frame and a cam assembly pivotally connected to the frame. A cable having one end fixedly secured to the frame may extend over a traveling pulley operably connected to the cam assembly and about a fixed pulley connected to the frame. One or more flexible progressive resistance bands may provide substantially linear assistance/resistance throughout an exercise.

A strength training machine includes a first motor oriented at a first angle relative to a chassis. It further includes a second motor oriented at a second angle relative to the chassis. The first and second angles skew the motors with respect to each other.

An exercise system includes a resistance unit for the performance of a wide variety of exercises including those previously performed using free weights, exercise machines, rowing machines, and/or ski machines. The resistance unit is usable alone or with a bench system that preferably includes a bench unit, which is configurable in various bench configurations including flat, seated, incline and decline configurations as well as a sliding seat configuration. The bench system can include an extension unit mounted to the bench unit, wherein a resistance unit is mountable to the exercise system in a plurality of mounting positions that align with various bench configurations to permit the performance of a wide variety of resistance exercises while varying the angle of resistance generated by the pull cord on the body party being exercised. The mounting positions optimize the location of the resistance unit and the pull cords depending upon the bench configuration to vary and optimize the angle of resistance applied to the user's muscles and body parts during exercises. The exercise system includes a software application which receives and analyzes data received from the resistance unit and generates a graphical user interface on a display unit for optimized display and representation of real time training data and an interpretation of the results.
