A video processor card for outputting video data, the video processor card being arranged for insertion into a video media server and into communication with an output of the video media server, the card comprising: an input for receiving a first video data stream at a first video resolution from the output of the video media server; a processor arranged to demultiplex the received first video data stream at the first resolution into a plurality of second video data streams, each second video data stream being at a second video resolution; and a plurality of video outputs, each video output arranged to output one of the plurality of second video data streams, wherein the first video resolution is at a higher video resolution than the second video resolution.

A computer network for facilitating engagement between consumers present at a premises and agents is disclosed. The network comprises touchscreen computers with cameras and configured to communicate with an agent computer and send a continuous uplink video stream to the agent computer. Activation of a button sends a notification to the agent computer comprising a camera and configured to continuously and simultaneously display multiple uplink video streams from the touchscreen computers and receive the notification of activation. The agent computer displays a graphical indication of the notification of activation associated with the video stream received from that touchscreen computer and detection of a selection captures a video stream by the camera of the agent computer and establishes a video channel with the touchscreen computer to send the captured video stream as a downlink video stream from the agent computer to that selected touchscreen computer.

An apparatus includes an audio output device, an audio input device and a processor. The audio output device may be configured to generate an audio message. The audio input device may be configured to receive audio input. The processor may be configured to analyze the audio input to perform a first authentication of a user and determine a command corresponding to the audio input, determine a confidence level of a classification of a user based on the first authentication and authenticate the user if the confidence level is above a pre-determined threshold. The classification may correspond to an approved list of users. The confidence level may be adjusted in response to one or more authentication factors. If the user is authenticated, the processor may be configured to perform the command.

This invention provides a system and method for utilizing a wireless, handheld communication device to image a scene in multiple directions, so as to include multiple parties in addition to the user, and also, optionally, to project images on a plurality of display screensfor example a user-facing screen on the front face of the phone and an opposing screen on the rear/back face of the phone that faces (e.g.) a chat participant other than the user (an audience). The housing of the smartphone is adapted to provide a multi-camera and multi-screen arrangement. More particularly, the housing of the smartphone is adapted to include (at least) a front-directed camera and a rear-directed camera on respective front and rear faces, and openings along the left and right side edges for small-scale cameras and associated protective windows that are directed to image the left and right areas adjacent to the phone.

Provided is an image sensor that is connected to a data bus to which another image sensor is connected and image data is transmitted, and a collision detection line to which the another image sensor is connected and which is pulled up to a voltage at a first level through a register. The image sensor determines, on a basis of a state of the collision detection line, whether a collision of pieces of the image data is to occur on the data bus when the image data is output, and then outputs the image data to the data bus.

An apparatus includes a capture device and a lens opening. The capture device may be configured to capture video data of an environment near the apparatus. The video data may have a diagonal field of view that causes a wide angle lens distortion effect. The lens opening may be configured in an oblong shape to match the diagonal field of view of the capture device. The oblong shape may have a larger width than height and prevents a vignette effect. The lens opening may be non-removable.

The present disclosure provides a display apparatus and an operating method thereof. The display apparatus includes a control unit and a display module. The control unit outputs a first signal. The display module is coupled to the control unit, and the display module continuously displays a first image in a first period based on the first signal, in which the first image has a first pattern, and a first ratio of an area of the first pattern to an area of the first image ranges from 5% to 30%. The first pattern has a first brightness at a first time point in the first period, and the first pattern has a second brightness at a second time point in the first period. The second time point is later than the first time point, and the second brightness is less than the first brightness.

A frame generation apparatus including an image division section configured to, in a case where a horizontal-direction pixel number in a video signal is set to integers of 0 to N1 and a vertical-direction line number in the video signal is set to integers of 0 to M1, perform an operation of dividing a pixel group included in a line of which the vertical-direction line number is 2m and a pixel group included in a line of which the vertical-direction line number is (2m+1) on a basis of color format information of the video signal, for all integers m satisfying 0m(M/2)1, and thereby obtain a plurality of divided signals, and a frame generation section configured to generate a plurality of frames individually including the plurality of divided signals.

Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for receiving first video data comprising one or more frames having a scene with a person and perform a facial detection process on the first video data to detect a facial region in each frame having the scene with the person. Embodiments also include generating second video data from the first video data, the second video data to include a blurring effect applied to the facial region detected in the first video data, providing the second video data for display on one or more devices, and receiving a tag indication from at least one of the one or more devices, the tag indication to indicate a portion of the second video data having suspicious activity.

Disclosed is a method, including, but not limited to, receiving at least one panoramic video including a panoramic space having at least one object; receiving an environmental map, wherein the environmental map comprises an association of the at least one real object to at least one virtual object; augmenting, using the environmental map, the panoramic video, wherein the augmenting includes: rendering a plurality of real objects contained within the panoramic space; and embedding metadata associated with the virtual object into the panoramic video.
