AUTOMATED COLOR ADJUSTMENT OF MEDIA FILES
An aspect of automated color adjustment of media files includes receiving profile data corresponding to a subject of image capture. The profile data indicates color values of an element associated with the subject. An aspect also includes storing the profile data in a memory device coupled to a computer processor, capturing an image of the subject, and processing the image and adjusting color aspects based on the color values associated with the element.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and program product
A computer includes an image processing apparatus, the image processing apparatus includes a transformation unit that transforms color information on an input image signal on the basis of a transformation rule; a correction range calculation unit that calculates a correction range in a predetermined color space on the basis of a positional relationship between source coordinates and destination coordinates in the color space; and a point-based transfer distance calculation unit that calculates transformation destination coordinates at respective points within the correction range on the basis of the positional relationship between the source coordinates and the destination coordinates, and a positional relationship between coordinates at the respective points within the correction range and the source coordinates to reflect the calculated transformation destination coordinates on the transformation rule.
DISPLAY DEVICE VIEWING ANGLE COMPENSATION
Various embodiments for compensating for user view angle of a display device are presented. The viewing angle of a user may be determined using sensors. Based on the viewing angle, the attenuation of the output of the display device may be determined. Compensation mode for the display output may be determined. The compensation mode may adjust the output of the display to compensate for the display attenuation allowing an improved image quality at large viewing angles.
DISPLAY APPARATUS, PORTABLE DISPLAY TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND METHOD
A mirror function display apparatus includes an imager that captures an image of a user, a display that displays the captured image of the user captured by the imager, a light source that emits light including treatment light toward a front side of the display, the treatment light producing a treatment effect, and a controller that controls the display, the light source, and the imager. The controller controls the light source and the imager to capture a first captured image of the user when the treatment light is emitted, and a second captured image of the user when the treatment light is not emitted. The controller corrects, in terms of a hue, the first captured image based on the second captured image so as to cause the display to display a corrected first captured image obtained by correcting the first captured image.
Image processing method and image processing apparatus
An amount of color correction of a facial region is modified based on changes caused in face average values by white balance correction. Also, the amount of color correction of the facial region is modified according to luminance of pixels of interest to perform optimum color correction on the facial region and a highlight region.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGING DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
An image processing device includes an image acquisition unit that acquires a captured image to be processed from a storage unit in which a captured image having first date/time information indicating a time of imaging is stored, a date/time information acquisition unit that acquires the first date/time information and acquires second date/time information indicating a date/time when the captured image to be processed is acquired, an elapsed date/time calculation unit that calculates an elapsed date/time from the time of imaging by making a comparison between the first date/time information and the second date/time information, and an image processing unit that selects image processing based on a length of the elapsed date/time from among a plurality of kinds of image processing that change according to the length of the elapsed date/time and performs the selected image processing on the captured image to be processed.
DETERMINING A TONING COEFFICIENT FOR VIDEO, IMAGE AND AUDIO FILES
A method for changing an image file based on a toning coefficient includes receiving an image file including an image having a plurality of pixels. Toning characteristic function is determined for each pixel of the received image. Distribution of the plurality of pixels of the received image is analyzed using the toning characteristic function. The toning coefficient of the received image is determined based on the analyzed distribution of the plurality of pixels. A degree of toning of the received image file is changed using a user specified criteria based on the determined toning coefficient.
Electronic apparatus and image correction method thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a camera, a communication interface, and a processor configured to capture an image of a background of a display device through the camera, to divide the captured image into a plurality of blocks, to compare a target gradation value with gradation values of the each of the plurality of blocks, to adjust the gradation values of the each of the plurality of blocks, and to transmit an image of which the gradation values are adjusted, to the display device through the communication interface, wherein the sizes of the plurality of blocks are identified based on a background pattern of the display device.
LENS APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR LENS APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND MEMORY MEDIUM
A lens apparatus is detachably attachable to an image pickup apparatus. The lens apparatus includes a notification unit configured to notify the image pickup apparatus of a type of the lens apparatus, and at least one processor or circuit configured to execute a plurality of tasks including a communication task configured to communicate with the image pickup apparatus. Via communication with the image pickup apparatus, the communication task transmits setting information for setting a white detection area to a white detection area different from a white detection area that corresponds to the type of the lens apparatus and is stored in the image pickup apparatus.
