Hybrid resistance system
A resistance system, which can be suitable for incorporation in exercise equipment, is a hybrid resistance assembly having at least a first and a second resistance unit. The first resistance unit can be of a first type and the second resistance unit can be of a second type. The first resistance unit can be an inertial resistance unit, which incorporates an inertial load that creates resistance influenced by the inertia of a movable mass, such as a rotatable flywheel. The second resistance unit can be a static or non-inertial resistance unit, such as a displacement resistance unit, which incorporates a load that creates resistance influenced by displacement (e.g., linear or rotational displacement) of an input to the displacement resistance unit.
Transmission structure of climbing machine
A transmission structure of a climbing machine for an operator to operate in a standing position is disclosed. The transmission structure of the climbing machine includes a base, a support frame, a first slide rail, a second slide rail, a first transmission unit, a second transmission unit, a first handle slider, a first pedal slider, a second handle slider, a second pedal slider, and a resistance unit. The climbing machine is used to train the synchronized and coordinated movements of hands and feet for simulating rock climbing and mountaineering. The support frame, the first slide rail, the second slide rail, the first transmission unit and the second transmission unit are all located at the center line position of the upright trunk of the operator. The volume of the climbing machine can be reduced greatly to save the space occupied.
Climbing machine having single circulating transmission path structure
A climbing machine having a single circulating transmission path structure is disclosed. The climbing machine includes a frame body, a first slide rail assembly, a second slide rail assembly, and a transmission unit. A transmission assembly of the transmission unit is continuously connected with a first pedal slider, a second pedal slider, a first handle slider, a second handle slider to form a single circulating transmission path instead of two independent paths on both sides of the frame body. The smoothness of the transmission path can be improved without the need for timing belts or connecting belts.
Body Lift Exercise Apparatus
A Body Lift Exercise Apparatus is provided which has a base frame member with a seat support member coupled thereon which moves upward and downward in a controlled manner. The apparatus also has a user engagement member which pivotally mounts to the front of the base frame member. The user engages the front portion of the user engagement with their thighs and pivots the leg engagement member in the downward direction. The back portion of the user engagement member will thus move upward, and it is coupled to the seat support member so that this upward movement produces upward movement in the seat support member. Therefore the downward pivoting motion of the front of the user engagement member will produce upward motion in the seat support member, and vice versa. This allows the user to perform exercise routines on the lower body muscle areas while in a relatively seated position. Handle members may also be a part of the apparatus to assist the user in reducing the net weight of the user upon the seat support member, and thus create as exercise routine for the upper body muscle areas. A back support member may also be part of the apparatus for comfort.
EXERCISE MACHINE
A stationary exercise machine may include reciprocating hand members, such as handles, and/or reciprocating foot members, such as foot pedals. The reciprocating hand members may be operative to apply a first moment to a crankshaft, and the reciprocating foot members may be operative to apply a second moment to the crankshaft. The second moment may be different than the first moment. The reciprocating foot members may cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the user's foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. The reciprocating hand members may be configured to move in coordination with the foot members via a linkage operatively coupling the hand members with the foot members. A resistance mechanism may apply resistance to crankshaft rotation, and the resistance mechanism may be adjustable while the user is using the machine.
SMART LEG MOVEMENT STIMULATOR DEVICE
A leg movement stimulator device for use while sitting. Other embodiments of leg movement stimulator device include leg gliding mechanism (12) to allow simple exercise for user while simultaneously performing other sedentary activities, and extension function (13) for width adjustment, and a diversified movement mechanism (22), (22a) for joints and small muscles stimulation, and data generating and communicating mechanism (30), (30a), (31), (33) with user's smart electronic devices is also available for user's convenience in tracking and monitoring the movement activities. Other embodiments include chair fixing mechanism (14), (14a) to hold the device from moving, and stepper mechanism (11a), (11b), (22a), (22b) and varied track direction (12c) for diverse exercise of the user.
EXERCISE MACHINE
Described herein are embodiments of stationary exercise machines having reciprocating foot and/or hand members, such as foot pedals that move in a closed loop path. Some embodiments can include reciprocating foot pedals that cause a user's feet to move along a closed loop path that is substantially inclined, such that the foot motion simulates a climbing motion more than a flat walking or running motion. Some embodiments can further include reciprocating handles that are configured to move in coordination with the foot via a linkage to a crank wheel also coupled to the foot pedals. Variable resistance can be provided via a rotating air-resistance based mechanism, via a magnetism based mechanism, and/or via other mechanisms, one or more of which can be rapidly adjustable while the user is using the machine.
FOLDABLE CLIMBING EXERCISE DEVICE
A foldable vertical stepping exercise machine allows a user to perform exercise through vertical stepping motions. The exercise device includes a base assembly having an upper portion and a lower portion such that the lower portion rests on a support surface. The exercise device includes a stepping assembly having a pair of foot rests and a pulley mechanism attached to the upper portion of the base assembly. The pulley mechanism connects to the pair of foot rests such that the pair of foot rests slides up and down a vertical length of the exercise device. The exercise device includes a connector assembly slidably attaching the pair of foot rests to the upper portion of the base assembly so that the pair of foot rests move alternately up and down the vertical length of the exercise device while the user performs the stepping exercise.
ELLIPTICAL TRAINER
The invention relates to an elliptical trainer including: a frame having a first end and a second end; a rocker-rod mechanism hingedly connected to the first end of the frame; a pedal mechanism hingedly connected to the second end of the frame through a transmission mechanism; an adjustment mechanism including an adjustment table, one end of the adjustment table being rotatably connected to the frame, the pedal mechanism being slidably connected to the adjustment table, the adjustment mechanism adjusting the position of the pedal mechanism relative to the frame; and a link the two ends of which are connected to the rocker-rod mechanism and the pedal mechanism respectively so that the rocker-rod mechanism is linked with the pedal mechanism. Since the apparatus of the invention is provided with an adjustment mechanism which is rotatably connected to the frame and the pedal mechanism is slidably connected to the adjustment mechanism, an exercise experience that the user simulates climbing by means of the pedal mechanism can be improved by changing an elevation angle of the adjustment mechanism relative to the frame. In the apparatus of the invention, a resistance adjustment mechanism is provided on a flywheel, the user can obtain more exercise experiences by increasing rotation resistance of the flywheel and a turntable.
CLIMBING EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine that creates a simulated continuous resisted climbing motion is disclosed. The machine includes a floor- or ground-contacting base frame and two or more substantially vertically oriented uprights, wherein at least one upright is rigidly connected to the base frame. The machine further includes two handles and two foot pedals, each handle and each foot pedal being movably engaged with an upright for linear reciprocating motion along the upright. The handles and foot pedals are interconnected so that they move concurrently. An adjustable resistance mechanism may be operatively connected to the interconnection of the handles and foot pedals to provide adjustable resistance for the simulated continuous climbing motion.
