A conveyance device that conveys paper through a conveyance path along a surface thereof includes: a conveyance guide that has a guide surface to be a wall surface on one side of the conveyance path, an opening being formed in the guide surface; a paper detection unit at least including a detection member, which is arranged in a space that communicates with the conveyance path through the opening, and configured to detect, with the detection member, a leading end of the paper that reaches the opening; and a movable body that brings the detection member into a retracted state, in which a main part thereof is covered from the space, after the leading end of the paper is detected.

An image recording apparatus, including: a housing; an image recording portion held by the housing; a control board having a mounting face and disposed in the housing such that the mounting face extends along a perpendicular plane perpendicular to a height direction, a control circuit for controlling the image recording portion being provided on the control board; and a communication board having a mounting face and disposed in the housing such that the mounting face extends along the perpendicular plane, such that the communication board is distant from the control board in a direction along the perpendicular plane, and such that the communication board is located within a height range ranging to the control board from a distal end of a highest one of mounted components mounted on the control board, an interface circuit to be connected to a telephone line being provided on the communication board.
Image forming apparatus and image forming system incorporating same
An image forming apparatus includes a display and an image forming unit. The display includes a display screen to display a preview image before an image is formed on a recording medium. The image forming unit forms, on the recording medium, an image corresponding to the preview image displayed on the display screen. Each of a vertical length and a horizontal length of the display screen is equal to or greater than a length of a long side of a maximum size recording medium on which an image is to be formed by the image forming unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first casing, a pivotable second casing, a pivotable document cover, and a lock mechanism including a movable hook and a fixed hook. The second casing has a document support surface. When the second casing is at a first position in which the second casing covers an upper surface of the first casing, and the document cover is at a fourth position in which the document cover reveals the document support surface, the movable hook is engaged with the fixed hook. When the second casing is at the first position, and the document cover is at a third position in which the document cover covers the document support surface, the movable hook is disengaged from the fixed hook.

Information processing equipment includes an image forming apparatus which has a first outer surface and a server apparatus which has a second outer surface opposed to the first outer surface at a distance therefrom, the server apparatus being connected to a network and performing predetermined processing. The information processing equipment has a coupling portion which integrates the image forming apparatus and the server apparatus with each other by coupling a first coupling region located on the first outer surface and a second coupling region located on the second outer surface to each other and an air passage space portion through which outside air can pass, the air passage space portion being provided between a first opposing region on the first outer surface other than the first coupling region and a second opposing region on the second outer surface other than the second coupling region.

An image forming apparatus, includes: a short-range wireless communication unit that performs wireless communication with a mobile terminal that is in proximity; an operating portion that receives operational instructions from a user; and an operation panel having a communication area of the short-range wireless communication unit and an operation area of the operating portion on the same surface. The operation panel is constructed such that the communication area of the short-range wireless communication unit is arranged around a corner portion on the near side of the operation area where the operating portion of the operation panel is arranged, as viewed from the user side who operates the operation panel.

The imaging image is moved along an ejection direction of a medium, and is removed from a screen.

Embodiments provide a video camera configured to capture, compress, and store video image data in a memory of the video camera at a rate of at least about twenty three frames per second. The video image data can be mosaiced image data, and the compressed, mosaiced image data may remain substantially visually lossless upon decompression and demosaicing.
