DEVICES FOR EXERCISE APPARATUSES
A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.
Wall-Mounted Collapsible Exercise System
A wall-mounted collapsible exercise system which is adjustable between a collapsed position against a wall and an expanded position for use in multiple exercise configurations. The wall-mounted collapsible exercise system generally includes a mount support adapted to be connected to a wall, a body support adapted to support an exerciser, and a base support adapted to support the body support when the body support is in use. The body support may be pivotably connected to the mount support and the base support may be pivotably connected to the body support such that the body support and base support are adjustable between a first collapsed position for storage and a second expanded position for use. When in the expanded position, the body support may be converted between a glute ham developer configuration and a reverse hyper configuration through use of various exercise attachments.
Apparatus and associated methods for facilitating exercise and training
An apparatus and associated methods for facilitating exercise and training includes an elongate board having a top surface, a bottom surface, a length direction and a width direction. The top surface of the board defines a complex curvature including an end convex portion adjacent each opposed end of the board, a center convex portion at a center of the board, and a medial concave portion disposed between the center convex portion and each of the end convex portions. The opposed ends of an elongate strap are threaded upwardly within a slot from the bottom surface to the top surface. At least one pad is provided on the top surface of the board. An opening through the board defines a handhold for gripping and lifting the board. The board may further include a plurality of omnidirectional rollers depending from the bottom surface for movement in any direction.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.
TRAINING APPARATUS
Training apparatus 1 includes exercise equipment 3, 4 mounted to a side surface 8a or a roof 19 of a land vehicle or for mounting to a surface such as a wall of a building or ship. The exercise equipment includes a support structure which is attached to the surface 8a or roof 19. In some embodiments the support structure is manoeuvrable by pivoting with respect to the surface or roof, whilst remaining attached thereto, between a stowed condition and an exercising condition.
DUAL AND SOLO EXERCISE APPARATUS
A modular exercise apparatus includes internally threaded cross bars the ends of which are fitted with L-shaped mounting brackets secured in position between a pair of vertical frames by opposing manually threaded mounting bolts passing through aligned apertures in the frames and into the ends of the cross bars, the frames further stabilized by at least one U-shaped flanged supporting member secured to a base member of the frame by a threaded mounting bolt, so that the apparatus can be quickly and securely assembled without the use of tools to form a variable yet stable configuration that allows one or two users to execute a wide variety of vigorous bodyweight exercises, and can be easily disassembled to assume a compact configuration for storage, e.g., in a closet or beneath a bed. In an alternative configuration for solo use, the principal frame members of the apparatus are reduced in length and thereby in weight facilitating ease of movement of the assembled unit, as well as the disposition of the separate frame members, e.g., for storage.
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING EQUIPMENT WITH MULTIPLE MOVEMENT PLANES FOR BACK EXERCISES
A back exercise machine includes: a resistance element; a user support; a first movement element, the first movement element having: a column; and a first connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a first axis associated with the first connecting element, wherein the first connecting element is movably coupled to the column such that the first connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the column; and a second movement element, the second movement element having: a rail; and a second connecting element having a pivot point such that the user support is able to pivot about a second axis associated with the second connecting element, wherein the second connecting element is movably coupled to the rail such that the second connecting element is able to move along a path defined by the rail.
Multi-functional exercise device
A multifunctional exercise device is described. The multifunctional exercise device has multiple configurations where the user can perform different exercises by simply adjusting the angle of the bench to utilize both the user's bodyweight and gravity as the resistance.
STATIONARY BIKE
A stationary bike is disclosed which includes a flywheel mounted to a frame, and a chair coupled to the frame, the chair having a first, a second and a third section each having a flat area, wherein the flat area of the first section is substantially horizontal for supporting a user's buttocks when the user is in a sitting posture, the flat area of the second section forms a first angle to a vertical plane for the user's lower back to lean against when in the sitting posture, and the flat area of the third section forms a second angle to the vertical plane which is larger than the first angle, when the user's upper back rests on the third section, the user's lower back and buttocks are raised above the second section and the first section, respectively.
