When the controller reads shortcut information that indicates a first option for a selected one of the functions, and when the first option is permitted to the user, the third screen is displayed. When the first option is not permitted to the user, and if there is a second option permitted to the user, the second screen is displayed.

An image processing device comprises a receiving port, a processor and an output port. The receiving port receives old image data from a peripheral device. The old image data has partial positioning mark data corresponding to a portion of a positioning mark of a document, and partial main image data corresponding to a partial main image of a portion of a main image of the document. The processor electrically connected to the receiving port shifts the partial main image by a calibration distance in a calibration direction to a standard position of a typesetting page according to the partial positioning mark data and the partial main image data, and adds a predetermined image to one side or neighboring two sides of the partial main image to generate new image data. The output port electrically connected to the processor outputs the new image data. Copy apparatus and method are also provided.

An image processing apparatus comprises an image processing device. The image processing device comprises a receiving port and a processor connected together. The receiving port receives old image data corresponding to a document image of a document. The processor divides the old image data into first area image data corresponding to a first area image of the document, and second area image data corresponding to a second area image of the document, and further performs image enhancement processing on the first area image data to obtain enhanced first area image data. Thus, the first area image may be separated from the second area image, and the image enhancement processing is performed on the first area image. The enhanced first area image data and the second area image data are separately outputted or combined for output. An image processing method for the image processing apparatus is also provided.

A method for page management for use with an image forming apparatus includes receiving a request from a user for processing one or more pages of one or more documents. Further, the method includes displaying on a display (a) a thumbnail image generated for each page and (b) a plurality of options for processing the one or more pages. Furthermore, the method includes receiving a selection by the user of at least one option of the plurality of options. Thereafter, the method includes processing the one or more pages, according to the at least one option of the selection received from the user.

A terminal device as a prohibited relationship detection device detects presence or absence of a prohibited relationship, when change of a setting value related to a job condition is received, based on a PJL (Printer Job Language) index table to classify a plurality of configuration items of which input of setting values is received on the terminal device into a plurality of resolve tables, a plurality of resolve PJL tables showing relationship between setting values of which input is received on the terminal device and the PJL values which indicate the setting values of which input is received on the terminal device in the PJL, and an inter resolve PJL table prohibition table which shows a combination of setting values having a prohibited relationship, of which input is received on the terminal device.

An information processing apparatus includes a storage device, a generating circuit, and an initialization circuit. The storage device stores control device configuration information in relation to resolution information of a control device. The control device configuration information is included in list information that is a list of information on the control device. The generating circuit generates dummy list information that is a dummy of the list information using the control device configuration information. A color conversion apparatus includes a hardware processor that obtains a scanner profile created on the basis of measured RGB values and corresponding measured colorimetric values of patches in a first color chart, and creates a table including correction amounts of RGB values, each according to the level of flare estimated for a patch and each associated with an RGB-value difference and a patch-size difference, on the basis of RGB values of patches in the first color chart and RGB values of patches in a specific chart. The specific chart is created by using a part of the patches in the first color chart with the RGB value or patch size being changed. The hardware processor further corrects measured RGB values of patches in a second color chart with the table, and convers the corrected RGB values into colorimetric values with the scanner profile.

A processing apparatus includes a memory, a processor, and a setting processor. The memory has plural memory areas, and the plural memory areas include registered memory areas that are registered to be used, and unregistered memory areas that are not registered to be used. The processor stores input data in a corresponding memory area among the plural memory areas. In response to an instruction to perform a setting process related to a function which uses a memory area, the setting processor executes a setting process including registering a memory area selected from among the unregistered memory areas to use the selected memory area for the function or including presenting the selected memory area to a user as a candidate for the memory area used by the function.
