ANTENNA FOR A HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICE

A hearing assistance device comprising a housing component (12) containing a transceiver (68) and processing circuitry arranged in a compact block structure (50), an antenna feed element electrically connected to the transceiver (68), and an antenna element (30, 80) mounted integral with the housing component (12). The antenna feed element is mounted on the compact block structure (50), and is electromagnetically coupled to the antenna element (30, 80).

Two-way communication system and method of use

The two-way communication system comprises a non-invasive and non-implanted system which allows for clear two-way communications. This system is generally comprised of a mouthpiece component, relay component, infrastructure communication device, an optional earpiece component, and an optional system control which may interface with the relay component.

Ear-wearable device having tunnel with electrical contact pins

An ear-wearable device includes a shell shaped for wearing in a user's ear. The shell comprises a tunnel wall shaped to define a tunnel that passes through the ear-wearable device. The tunnel wall defines one or more contact pin apertures through which distal ends of two or more contact pins pass. One or more electrical components are encased within the shell. The contact pins are conductors from the one or more electrical components. The distal ends of the contact pins are positioned to make electrical contact with terminals of a cable plug that is removably inserted into the tunnel.

A charger for a hearing device that provides a user with control of insertion and/or ejection of the hearing device into or out of the charger. A user may use a user control to move the hearing device in the charger from a position where the hearing device can be charged by the charger and a removal position where the user may easily, manually remove the hearing device from the charger.

Receiver / loud speaker

A hearing aid includes: a hearing aid housing with a connector socket; and an earpiece connector with a connector plug; wherein the connector plug of the earpiece connector is configured to releasably couple to the connector socket of the hearing aid housing for connecting the earpiece connector to the hearing aid housing; and wherein the connector plug of the earpiece connector comprises a connector plug body having a deadbolt movably arranged in the connector plug body.

RECEIVER HOUSING WITH INTEGRATED SENSORS FOR HEARING DEVICE

A hearing device and subassembly therefor includes a sleeve member configured for at least partial insertion into a user's ear canal, the sleeve member defining a cavity that receives and retains at least a portion of a sound-producing electroacoustic transducer. The sleeve member includes a cable interface, wherein an electrical interface of a sound-producing electroacoustic transducer received in the cavity is accessible via the cable interface. The device also includes on or more sensors integrated with the sleeve member and positioned to sense a biomarker or other condition when the sleeve member is at least partially inserted into the user's ear canal. The hearing device includes conductive traces integrated with the sleeve member, where at least one conductive trace is electrically connected to the sensor and electrically connectable via the cable interface.
