Methods of CD40 activation and immune checkpoint blockade
Provided herein are methods and compositions for treating cancer in an individual comprising administering to the individual an effective amount of at least one immune checkpoint inhibitor and a chimeric CD 154 polypeptide. Also provided herein are methods of enhanced immune function.
Optimized routing in connected environments
Geographic proximity and network congestion are used to determine efficient routing of data in networks. If two devices are geographically close, then device-to-device communication may be possible. Data may thus be routed using device-to-device communication, which avoids consuming bandwidth in wide area networks and in cellular networks.
Ride-share support system and ride-share support method
A ride-share support system includes a getting-on/getting-off point information acquiring unit configured to acquire first getting-on/getting-off point information including a getting-on point or a getting-off point of a first ride-share applicant and second getting-on/getting-off point information including a getting-on point or a getting-off point of a second ride-share applicant, a getting-on/getting-off point distance calculating unit configured to calculate a distance between getting-on/getting-off points which is a distance between the getting-on point or the getting-off point of the first ride-share applicant and the getting-on point or the getting-off point of the second ride-share applicant, and a ride-share matching unit configured to determine ride-sharers of a vehicle by matching a plurality of ride-share applicants while excluding combination of the first ride-share applicant and the second ride-share applicant in a case where the distance between getting-on/getting-off points is equal to or less than a predetermined distance.
Location based content system for mobile applications
Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for providing users with electronic retrieval capabilities that are activated upon the users' determined locations respective to real-world locations associated with a message providing entity. The disclosed technology combines the previously separate systems of mail extraction, geo-fencing and content delivery (e.g., notification) into a single system that efficiently manages a user's inbox in order to provide the user with content the user has expressly indicated is of interest to that user. The disclosed systems and methods effectively realize a location-aware mail experience that provides functionality for delivering location (and timing) specific content to a user when the user is actually capable of acting on/interacting with the content in real-time.
Efficient secure phase-based ranging using loopback calibration
A system and method for an efficient secure phase-based ranging using loopback calibration, including receiving, by a reflector during a current timeslot, an incoming constant tone (CT) signal having a phase shift; determining, by the reflector during the current timeslot or a previous timeslot, a phase shift correction value by using a receiver/transmitter (Rx/Tx) loopback path of the reflector; and/or generating, by the reflector, an outgoing CT signal having an updated phase shift by adjusting the phase shift of the incoming CT signal based on the phase shift correction value.
Electronic apparatus and IoT device controlling method thereof
An electronic apparatus and a method of controlling a plurality of devices by the electronic apparatus are provided. The method includes receiving data from a plurality of devices, determining a correlation between at least two devices among the plurality of devices on the basis of the received data, determining a position of a first device on the basis of the correlation, grouping the first device and another device positioned in the vicinity of the first device into one group, and automatically creating group information, and controlling the devices included in the group. The name of the first device may be automatically set using the group information.
AUTOMATICALLY PROVIDING A COMMUNICATION BASED ON LOCATION INFORMATION FOR A USER OF A SOCIAL NETWORKING SYSTEM
Systems and methods for automatically locating web-based social network members are provided. According to one embodiment, contact content including an associated GPS identifier and status for web-based social network members located at or near the same location automatically appears on a GPS-enabled device. A further exemplary system includes a GPS-enabled device configured to receive a GPS identifier and a status representing a location and a current state for a web-based social network member, a processing module that associates the received GPS-identifier and the received status, and a communications module that sends the associated GPS-identifier and status to a server comprising a web-based social network database. Contact content in a web-based social network database record in the web-based social network database is updated to include the associated GPS identifier and status for the web-based social network member.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES FOR CONSUMERS OF INFORMATION
A system and method is provided for using information broadcast by devices and resources in the immediate vicinity of a mobile device, or by sensors located within the mobile device itself, to ascertain and make a determination of the immediate environment and state of the mobile device. The sensor data is then used to identify situational profiles to target and determine the relevance of apps, advertisements, content, and recommendations.
IDENTIFYING MOBILE DEVICE LOCATION AND CORRESPONDING SUPPORT CENTER LOCATIONS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES OVER A NETWORK
A mobile device may receive updates, support and other data from a current data center agent platform. When the mobile device travels to another location the nearest data center agent may be different from the previous agent. A changeover determination must be performed prior to determining whether the new agent should be assigned to the mobile device. One example method of operation may include receiving current location information of the mobile device and identifying a present location of the mobile device and a current service center assigned to the mobile device. The method may also provide determining whether a new service center location at a remote location from the current service center location should be assigned to the mobile device based on predefined assignment criteria.
PRESENCE-BASED DEVICE MODE MODIFICATION
In some examples, a first device may detect the presence of a second device or a particular person and, when a triggering event related to the second device or the particular person applies, the first device may change from a first mode to a second mode.
