The disclosed subject matter relates to an Intelligent Transportation System station (ITS-S) for being carried by a Vulnerable Road User (VRU), comprising: a motion sensor for determining VRU motion data indicative of a VRU position, a VRU speed, and a VRU heading; a transmitter for transmitting a VRU message including the determined VRU motion data; a receiver for receiving, concerning a vehicle, vehicle motion data indicative of a vehicle position, a vehicle speed, and a vehicle heading; and a controller for controlling the transmitter; wherein the controller is configured to compare the determined VRU motion data with the received vehicle motion data and, when the result of the comparison meets a predetermined criterion, to suppress the transmitting of said VRU message.

Wi-Fi provisioning techniques

Techniques are described for provisioning Wi-Fi network connectivity for a wireless device without requiring a user to provide network credentials to allow the wireless device to establish a network connection. In some implementations, a method is performed by a computing device to provision a wireless network connection. A MAC address associated with a property is obtained. A temporary network credential for the wireless device is determined based on the MAC Address of the wireless device. The temporary network credential permits the wireless device to connect to a temporary network. The temporary network credential for the wireless device is available over the temporary network. A determination that the wireless device has connected to the temporary network using the temporary network credential for the wireless device is made. An instruction is transmitted to the wireless device over the temporary network in response to the determination.

This disclosure describes techniques for receiving information that is wirelessly transmitted to a mobile computing system by wireless devices that are proximal to a route being travelled by the mobile computing system, and presenting at least a portion of the received information through a display of the mobile computing system. The information can be displayed according to a computing experience that is determined for a user of the mobile computing system (e.g., user-selected, inferred based on a stored schedule of the user, and so forth). Different sets of location-based information can be transmitted to the mobile computing system from different wireless devices that the mobile computing system comes into proximity with while traveling along a route. In some instances, the information can be locally stored on the wireless device(s) to reduce latency.

Virtual content item configuration data indicative of a selection by a first user of virtual content item to apply to a real-world environment that is visible to a second user via a second device is received from a first device. The virtual content item configuration data also includes one or more criteria to trigger application of the virtual content item to the real-world environment. A triggering event is detected based on satisfaction of the one or more criteria determined from context data generated at the second device. The second device presents the virtual content item overlaid on the real-world environment that is visible to the second user based on the triggering event.

The initiator UE may establish, via the sidelink connection, a set of unicast sidelink sessions with the set of target UEs. some examples, the initiator UE may transmit, via the sidelink connection, a set of position reference signal requests via the set of unicast sidelink sessions to initiate a set of sidelink ranging sessions. The initiator UE may then receive, via the sidelink connection, a set of position reference signal responses from the set of target UEs during each of the plurality of sidelink ranging sessions.

In one aspect, a playback device is provided that is configured to identify a trigger event indicating a request to associate the playback device with another playback device. Based on identifying the trigger event, the playback device is configured to create a first sound code based on a first sound specimen detected by the playback device. After identifying the trigger event, the playback device is configured to receive from the other playback device a sound object and based on receiving the sound object, identify a second sound code. The playback device is also configured to, based on the first sound code and the second sound code, determine that it and the other playback device have a spatial relationship. Based on that determination, the playback device is configured to cause it and the other playback device to be associated in accordance with the indicated request.

The CRS detects availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over a data network to accept an incoming call. The CRS receives the incoming call made to one of the numbers, when the called number is not reachable. The CRS routes the incoming call to the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network on detecting the availability of the CRCA on one or more user devices over the data network.
