The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5.sup.th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The disclosure discloses a terminal including a transmission and reception unit and at least one processor. The at least one processor controls the transmission and reception unit so that the transmission and reception unit receives a message such as an SMS, an MMS, or an OTT including event download information from a communication operator server, searches for event download information from the received message such as the SMS, the MMS, or the OTT, transmits the event download information to another terminal if necessary, and receives an event from a profile server with reference to the event download information.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect that a first subscription, of a plurality of subscriptions associated with the UE, is associated with an active service on a first cellular network. The UE may search, for a second subscription of the plurality of subscriptions, for radio access technologies (RATs) and frequency bands that are compatible with a dual active mode of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may detect that the active service on the first cellular network has ended. Accordingly, the UE may search, for the second subscription, for RATs and frequency bands that are compatible with the dual active mode of the UE and for RATs and frequency bands that are incompatible with the dual active mode, before expiry of a timer associated with a power saving state. Methods are disclosed for provisioning and/or controlling operator profiles in terminals, each having an integrated circuit card identified by an integrated circuit card identifier. According to one aspect, a discovery server is configured with an authorization table including associations of integrated circuit card identifier, service provider identifier, and operator identifier(s). The discovery server receives, from a data preparation node, an event registration request that includes a number of elements. The discovery server determines whether the event is authorized. If so, the event is registered. This enables a terminal to seek to retrieve the event, to contact the data preparation node, and to eventually perform the profile operation. Some embodiments enable the network-initiated provisioning and/or controlling of operator profiles in machine-to-machine devices.

Frequency Band Control Method In Abnormal Scenario Of Dual-Card Terminal And Terminal Device
This application provides a frequency band control method in an abnormal scenario of a dual-card terminal and a terminal device, and relates to the field of communications technologies. In solutions of this application, for a dual-card user scenario that supports a 5G SA mode or a 5G NSA mode, it is determined whether a frequency band combination of two cards is in a blacklist and whether signal quality of a primary card and/or signal quality of a secondary card meet/meets a preset threshold. If the frequency band combination of the two cards is in the blacklist and the signal quality of the primary card and/or the signal quality of the secondary card are/is less than the preset threshold, an NR capability of a terminal device is controlled to fall back, for example, an SA capability is disabled, or an NR link in an ENDC link is released, to improve the signal quality of the two cards. Further, when the frequency band combination of the two cards changes and a changed frequency band combination of the two cards is not in the blacklist, the NR capability of the terminal device may be controlled to be restored. In the solutions of this application, a case in which signal quality deteriorates because the dual-card terminal device works on a problem frequency band combination can be alleviated.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVING WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY AND SELECTABILITY OF CELL TOWERS FOR DATA TRANSFER
A system, device and medium for providing internet to user devices are described. The system is designed to provide high speed internet using cellular networks. The system comprises exterior unit which is placed in open environment and router unit which is placed in proximity to the user devices. The exterior unit comprises the detachable cellular modem and antenna and modem housing arrangement. The detachable cellular modem includes SIM slot unit to accommodate SIMS, and connectors. The antenna and modem housing arrangement includes antenna arrangement to accommodate the antennas at slant polarization, and a modem holding housing to accommodate the detachable cellular modem. One may appreciate that the system is designed using detachable cellular modem, placed at outdoors along with antennas, to provision less complex and adaptable system for lossless transmission of signals to modem and efficient internet access to multiple user devices.
