Method of dynamically assigning storage locations starts with the processor updating first user's home location data. Processor selects communication session between first user and second user and determines second user's home location data. Processor determines a session location data that indicates current storage location that stores data of communication session received from first and second client devices. Processor identifies available data storage locations based on first user and second user's home location data and determines whether to update the session location data based on an average of a distance over network fiber using the first user and second user's home locations, current storage location, and available storage locations. In response to determining to update the session location data, processor updates session location data to indicate one of the available storage locations, and causes transfer of data of communication session to one of the available storage locations. The method comprises obtaining an indication of handling a profile of the communications device (300). The method comprises establishing a first secure communications link with a local profile assistant of the communications device. The method comprises establishing a second secure communications link with a subscription management entity (430) of the communications device. The method comprises receiving information pertaining to handling of the profile by the local profile assistant of the communications device, the information being received from the subscription management entity over the second secure communications link. The method comprises providing the information to the local profile assistant of the communications device over the first secure communications link.

A method performed by a communicating object to obtain rights to access a communications network. The object initially has rights limited to exchanging data with a rights management platform of the network. The delegated rights are defined on the basis of network access rights associated with a user of the object and referred to as “initial” rights. The present disclosure provides a method for supporting UE access control. A base station is informed by a ProSe Function via a MME or informed by the MIME of information indicating whether a UE is authorized for a D2D service.
