A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.

A variable-color region (106) of an information-presentation structure extends to an exposed surface (102) at a surface zone (112) and normally appears along it as a principal color. An impact-dependent portion (138) of the variable-color region responds to an object (104) impacting the zone at an object-contact area (116) by providing an impact signal if the impact meets threshold impact criteria. The impact signal identifies an expected location of a print area (118) in the zone. The print area meets one of plural different print-area location criteria respectively corresponding to plural changed colors materially different from the principal color. Responsive to the impact signal, a controller (702) determines which location criterion is met by the print area and provides an initiation signal at a corresponding condition. The impact-dependent portion responds to the initiation signal by temporarily appearing along the print area as the changed color for that location criterion.

Apparatus for football training is provided which includes a circular wall having an inward facing surface to support rebound of a football, which has been struck in a radial direction against this surface, back along said radial direction towards the centre of the circular wall. Multiple target indications are provided at respective angular locations around the circular wall. The apparatus has a control system for activating a series of target indications in sequence, and a monitoring system for determining whether the inward facing surface of the wall has been struck at the angular location corresponding to an activated target indication.

A golf system. The golf system includes a computing device associated with a user at a playing surface having at least one landmark object. A balance training system includes a moving carriage configured to be able to move on a moving surface by driving a driving unit, a calculation unit calculating a load's center of gravity of the training person's feet on a boarding surface from the detected load, a setting unit configured to set a stable range, the stable range being a range of the load's center of gravity, and the training person is assumed to maintain upright on the boarding surface in the range; and a control unit performing safety control for ensuring safety during a training attempt for driving the driving unit to move the moving carriage when the control unit determines that the load's center of gravity has fallen outside the stable range or when the control unit predicts that the load's center of gravity is going to fall outside the stable range.

An information processing system includes processing circuitry that is configured to receive input data from a shock sensor which outputs data based on a shock on the shock sensor, and identify a target segment of time-series data that is output from a motion sensor that senses a motion of an object. A tackle training apparatus includes a padded body member and two padded elongate leg members in which each leg member has a first end for abutting the body member and a second end for contacting the ground. The present invention is to provide a device for sensing golf swing and a method for sensing an impact position on club head using two cameras operated in a stereoscopic manner with each other in the sensing device to accurately calculate the position where the golf ball is impacted on the head-face of the golf club when hitting the golf ball.

A golf club head comprises a forward portion, comprising a strike face, and at least one tracking marker, configured to be tracked by a launch monitor and permanently embedded in the forward portion. The at least one tracking marker comprises a retroreflective surface that is more retroreflective than the strike face.
